For those who are curious... The Daiwa Silver Wolf SV TW 1000XHL got a super fast worm gear and it takes a bit under 4 cranks to get the line guide to go one full rotation! So it's definitely faster then this reel!

It's a high end reel Jimmy but you have put it on my radar my friend I am like you and I am fond of my Ark Gravity BFS reel!

Thx! I like to portray more than just Budget reels. Seems like everyone is on the temu and Aliexpress reels now. Many still are hit or miss. I remember the days when I explored Aliexpress since bfs wasn't available in the US. But now it is here... I should spend time playing with USDM stuff! And while yen is down.. JDM stuff too!

I finally got a chance to fish with my Hundo LTS this past weekend and I love the reel! I only cast 2 grams and up with it because I other setups with me to handle to really light bfs lures. This reel is a lot of fun to fish with and very hard to backlash

Nice! Been sick so I have been just staring at this reel on my desk lol. Finally gotten well enough to make a video. I agree, the large spool makes it a reel for heavier lures, even tho the spool is pretty light. I will test how low it will go on an UL setup, but I will likely have it on a ML rod after my testing!

@rawrfishing I have so many reels that will handle sub 1 gram that it's nice to have a few set up for heavier fishing. I think this reel, my haibo elite, and one of the 17 conquests will be used a lot for bass.

Love the video but question what competes against this i qant to buy this ine but want to see other options as well i plan on using it for trout as trout season is around the corner and that lake i go to has at times 20 pound trouts

Just gotten it without much time to fish it. Stay tuned for fall fishing and i can give more feedback then. But this is a big bfs spool. So reels to compare to be the loongze airlite B101 or the Daiwa Silver Wolf SV TW 1000XHL

other than the 2 mentioned? i guess tatula bf 70 is slightly smaller i believe. Curado BFS is about the same but spool is heavier.

Hi! Amazing video! What do you think about fill 400ft 0.6 PE braid in a bfs baitcaster? I have a calcutta BFS, and 125ft is too low for me! Do i need to use only 125 ft braid in all bfs reel or my spool will be wrapped?

@@pedrofavero2396 I think one should not put more than 150 feet of 0.6 gou lol. Any more would make the spool too heavy for the UL side of fishing. But if u need more line.. Perhaps bfs isn't the right tool. Try the Daiwa Silver Wolf SV TW 1000XHL. U can put 500 ft of 0.8 gou! But the casting will be impacted as portrayed and mentioned on my previous video. 125 feet is what I use for my UL, 150 for L and ML. But that number is what I came to for my fishery and style of fishing. While you can use what I have set as a guideline, I urge you to explore so that you can find what works best for u and your fishery

Thank you so much! I will consider all that information. There are a lot of rocks where i fish, then my line can be cut easily. My biggest fear is that 400ft 0.6 gou will deform my spool one day.

PE line should not deform a spool as it does not stretch. That 2023 Conquest is a small reel with a super small spool. So not sure if u can hold that much. U can measure how much line next time u fill it up. You potentially need a larger bfs reel with a larger spool
