One more Easter Egg. When Batman says "Let's dance" and a fight goes against all those henchmen, there's the messages "Break!", "Bleed!", and "Ow! My Balls!", which is a parody to the various comic onomatopoeias you see in the fight scenes of the Batman 1960s TV series, and you even hear the trumpet sounds with each onomatopoeia.

In the post credit scene harley says a disclaimer that she cant, isnt allowed, or her degree was revoked. She cant legally practice medicine and its all for show. She does give the guy a chance to get free treatment. This is a reference to an irl fake therapist, Dr. Phil. Harley's show is also setup like the Dr. Phil show with an autobiographical intro, exposition on the guest, and noreal solution to the guests problems.

I'm sure you guys have been asked this before, but have you ever thought about doing a video about the Near Apocalypse of '09? Fans have been speculating about it for years, and I'd be curious to hear you guys' thoughts/theories on it.

Michael Bernaschina I believe you may be the first, actually. There really isn’t much to go off of other than 2 times when someone said “The Near Apocalypse of ‘09.” We know it involved Ra’s al Ghul and Talia. That’s about it. We will be coming up on this storyline eventually in our original online webcomic, “Legacies of the DCAU,” which you can find here: www.legaciesdcau.com

Tho it is optional cannon like teen Titans which, and just like teen Titans he has several references in the Justice league, and Batman TAS, and Superman TAS, and the justice league shows, but not officially brought in, the same goes for Barry Allan

you do realize that DC probably exist in the dc Multiverse, as a comic company, heck the Justice Guild of America comics were were probably published by animated Universe version of DC comics, witch could be way to explain why there is poster of hal jorden. to add in issue 10 on page 12 of dc rebirth super sons there is a poster that shows Conner in his 90's to early 2000's, witch could point to the idea of dc exist with there Multiverse, as a comic company.

There have been instances of this exact idea in the DCAU (which we have down as a future video subject). Ones that come to mind off the top of my head are "The Batman Adventures" #16 where Joker prints his own comic, "Gotham Adventures," under the title "CD Comics," and again in the "Superman: the Animated Series" episode "In Brightest Day..." where Kyle Rayner gets a rejection letter from DC Comics.

Level 12 Intel report on Dr. Alec Holland is a reference to the "12th Level Intellect" scene from JLU's final episode "Destroyer" where Lex Luthor said that he's " overqualified then." self-statement.

A “12th level intellect” is a commonly used descriptor in DC, it doesn’t originate in that episode. Though I’m not positive I agree that’s the reference here either. Maybe!

This movie isn't canon to the DCAU. Even Bruce Timm has said so. So why are you acting like it is?

The art style alone is not evidence enough that the film is set in the DC Animated Universe (see: “Superman: Brainiac Attacks”). “Bruce Timm has said so”? Do you have a source for this? Every panel/interview/etc. we have researched for the film turns up no significant evidence one way or the other. In fact, Timm seems to be of the mind that the canonicity of this film is up to viewer interpretation, that he personally thinks of it as part of the DCAU but that he didn’t bother checking to see if he was contradicting anything prior. Our approach to this universe is that everything is “innocent until proven guilty,” therefore anything relatively considerably canon IS, until it is NOT. In the case with “Brainiac Attacks,” glaring continuity issues and producer statements have led to the conclusion that it is not canon to the DCAU. This movie, on the other hand, does nothing but flesh out the world and connect some previously-unconnected dots in the timeline. It doesn’t contain any damning issues worth throwing it out.

...because Timm never said that? In fact he's said that opposite, saying he personally considers it a part of the DCAU (but that he is not the person who decides whether it is canon or not)- the announcement video also had others related to the film talk about it as a return to the world of Batman: The Animated Series...the film itself contains references to Nightwing's mullet, the BTAS theme for Batman, and the JLU theme which all suggest it was meant to be considered a part of the DCAU.
