The fact that Matt Reeves took some inspiration from this movie in regards that in The Batman Bruce realizes that he must let go of his desire for vengeance, that Batman must become a symbol of hope to inspire Gotham and become the hero that his city needs him to be. This scene, the moment the boy says "why is he running dad" and Gordon answers "because we have to chase him". When you see him fleeing; The 'man' in ' the batman' became more apparent. At the end of the day, he is still a man. He can feel vulnerability, he can be ignored, he can be destroyed.

I'm a big marvel fan. And the MCU has so many heroes that I could watch all day. But what makes The Dark Knight so incredible, is that it studies the superhero mythology very closely. I believe it was robbed at the Oscars for not winning the best picture award. Cause this is a masterpiece.

This is what I like about Bruce in these movies. He's the embodiment of the word selfless. Almost everything he does, he does for others to his own detriment. But unlike most heroes, he's almost never rewarded for it. Until the very end of the trilogy, there's no karma. His mental and physical wellbeing only gets worse and worse the more he sacrifices. But he's okay with that. It's admirable, but also sad.

Forget comic book movies people will be talking about his portrayal of the joker 20 years from now. And a hero is only as good as The villain and nobody I’ll top ledger on that. One last thing the problem with WB is there’s a lot of other characters that they don’t invest in as far as development goes this will be the third reboot of Batman in 15 years and that’s why marvel will continue Outperform them in movies and as far as making money it’s not even close I’m a Batman and Superman fan but there’s more to the DC universe than those two

💯 Truth. He is a brilliant actor and for me portrayed both bruce nd batman perfectly. I love his hoarse voice he used as batman as well instills fear.. That boldness that fear he wants his enemies to share the dread that he was affected by. This voice gives that vibe of a justice league leader a dark knight someone enemies should fear. Thats wht for me he is the best batman... Also because bale knows how to act with his eyes and voice exceptionally well

I remember watching this when I was 9 years old and in 2008. I loved the movie, but I didn't understand what happened in the end until I was much older. Now that I know what happened, I have to say the ending is beautiful. Batman's sacrifice to Gordan's amazing narration, to Alfred burning the letter and to Lucius destroying the computers. This should be a bittersweet ending, but it was a required ending to make sure that the Joker didn't win and the people still had hope. This truly is an amazing movie.
