Someone can explain why is bad to train with your 1RM?
@dragonwater57734 жыл бұрын
@@fernandosulantay Generally it is not a bad thing. The point is, that it doesn't make sense for Batman or Bruce Lee, because functionality is a bigger priority than reaching failure. Energie has to be left in the tank to further remain functional. This approach is known as compensatory acceleration training. It means that Batman has to move light weight quickly, so that the acceleration process replaces the heaviness of the weight. Training with the 1RM however can make sense for a powerlifter, because it involves lifting as much weight as possibile.

People often say that Batman has no superpowers. But he does. His superpower is never burning out. If I was working 24/7 from age 22, indefinitely, whether it be pretending to be a billionaire playboy, or fighting Joker and Mr. Freeze, eventually I'd burnout and straight up Kms. With Batman, he doesn't even get burnt out until 3 of his Robins (including the very brief Robin, Stephanie Brown) have died. And that burnout is extremely temporary even though the most recent dead robin was his 10 year old biological son.
