I've trained Muay Thai from 2008 - 2022 (this year) with some occasional boxing classes thrown in as a supplement. I've also done a bit of Kyokushin bare knuckle Karate but ended up stopping. Just recently I met a Sanda coach trying to get classes up and running, so I've taken this up. This feels like a Batman fighting style for sure. The Sanda training has better fundamental boxing skills than I've encountered in any Muay Thai gym which makes cross training extra boxing seem less useful, plus there is a wider variety of kicks as well as takedowns that can be perforned right from the striking stance. I'm enjoying it so much I've decided to fully transition from Muay Thai for the time being to focus on the new skillset.

Cannonically batman should call for help a lot more, he's had a partner in Robin since almost the very beginning. Being a CEO, head of a foundation, leader/prominent member of so many superhero teams; the outsiders, batfamily, justice league, young justice, etc he should be able to delegate tasks. Writing him as a control freak (to the point of not asking for help when it's needed) is stupid.

So excited to be starting SuperFunctional Training 2.0. I've finally found the perfect program for me, and it's a great structure that I can modify for my purposes if I want. I was already on this path before even discovering this channel, so I got SF1, but was like, cool, interesting ideas, but...it looks like basically a weight lifting program that requires a gym. Which is too far and I don't have the time. But now I can do it all from home, and incorporates all the best stuff I've learned and tried over the last couple of years. Would love to credit Adam, but...I just like to try lots of things. I've done all this stuff already, kettlebell, clubs and maces, animal crawls, Convict Conditioning, Tacfit, GMB, Gymnastic Bodies... But he's synthesized and extracted the best parts of all that and condensed it into a single well-structured program with almost unlimited potential for progression. I love that it starts and ends with meditation, and includes juggling and balancing, but I'm also confident it will lead to serious gains/getting ripped AF.

Based on this video (and a bunch of others from the bioneer) I've created a workout for myself (and if good enough I'll share it with friends). The purpose is to build athletic performance for beginners. Or to add to your martial arts training, like myself- I train bjj and want to work on my performance on top of the technique sessions. If you can, switch the supermans with pullups; but the point of this workout is that it requires no equipment, or space. here it is: warmup -technical standup -bridge -one-legged bridge -stationary shrimp -kick through -egg beater set 1 regular pushups side crunches superman row hindu squats calf raise L+R set 2 pushups biceps kickups superman row atg splitsquats L+R calf raise L+R set 3 spiderman pushups leg raises superman +flutter (aka aquaman) hip bumps calf raise hold L+R set 4 corkscrew pushups T-twist superman row atg splitsquats single leg jumps L+R (land on toes) cooldown -lizard crawl -stretch hamstrings -stretch quads/ hip flexor -stretch obliques -stretch shoulders -stretch neck MOTHERF_CKiNG MEDITATE thanks in advance guys!
