Dude..... I'm sure someone has already said it but 9.99 for that Chinese flashlight. You can get the same exact one for $1.50 if you order 10 or more on Amazon. Those guys at battlehoax should be ashamed of themselves. I could see maybe letting it a count for $4 of the total but $10!!!! I'm glad I watched this before placing my subscription. Hell to the naaaaa. (Edit: AND the $1.50 crees come WITH a battery haha.)

That water pouch is a BS product. It takes 8 hours to fill! You'd be way better off having a small waterfilter (like a Sawyer) and some electrolyte powder. You would have your beverage almost instantly and don't pack something for one time use.

I was just about to tell you about that bag. The straps that turn it into a backpack is a major deal. Having stuff in a duffel bag in the car is nice and all, but with no way to strap it to your back, you are stuck carrying it over your shoulder which gets uncomfortable fast.

I have the same flashlight and it's actually not bad. I got it in a promotion thing with Copenhagen. It has 3 light modes, high beam, low beam and strobe. The lens telescopes (pull on it). I'd definitely give it a try, it's pretty bright.

You should put the filter pouch into water mixed with salt and then see if it filters out the salt. Safe way of testing it

Something like a fish trap could be a great option for an emergency pack of some type. Depending on where you are. Well I don't know about a fish trap specifically cause I never used one. But I would prefer a gill net. It can be a quicker way to catch a number of fish. Not usually legal for general fishing. An emergency is another story. Would rather try to convince a judge than to go hungry. I of course would supplement it with additional methods to increase my odds of getting said food..

I actually have the Polystriker. It's really nice and well-built, but the striker piece itself is a little cumbersome at first, as it's shaped kinda like an i-beam of sorts, as opposed to just a flat piece of metal.

I'm not totally positive because I wasn't a fan but the sipik was the first to make that light. Excepts standard AA or 3.7v lithium ions for more brightness. Just checked and yea sipik is the brand still around you can pick up five for ten bucks. That light has a lot of fans still like my brother and others but the only reason I ever bought them was because it was a super cheap way to get quality cree LEDs for other things.

Hmm, that was a bit of a failure for a bug out bag kit. Nice knife, decent nesting pot set, bag looks ok, although not what I would use for a bug out bag, maybe a get home bag, but even that is questionable given I prefer backpacks over duffel bags. Everything else seemed to miss the mark, especially given the price.

That's basically the cheap 10$ surfire flashlight, which is just the most common brand for it. Well 10$ if it comes with the battery and charger anyways, mine was 4$ without the battery from a gas station and with just the normal AA that came in it, it sucks It's waaay to fat for how many lumens it has ( probably about 25-30 ) It's designed to run on a surfire type battery, and they shouldn't be allowed to sell them without it.
