I was surprised at the lyrics, as they unexpectedly conveyed a forlorn feeling, as well as a sense of intense loneliness. Luigi sadly and in quiet, contemplative fear waiting for his brother to rescue him got to me emotionally. Mario enduring peril and repeated injuries in his quest to find Luigi show their deep fraternal love spanning the universe. The marching of Bowser's army shows that a clash between Mario and Bowser is inevitable. Further suspense is created by the cannon signalling to Luigi that Mario is getting closer. The artwork shows that Luigi, though his voice is calm, seems to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. Bowser looks extra monstrous, suggesting that he is embodying his core traits and this is a straightforward showdown. Another beautiful work!
