A reveal that explains nothing, and yet still blows your mind. ‘Slowly recognizing a melody you didn’t realize you already know’ is a very powerful feeling, and this scene used it perfectly. My favorite scene in the whole show, no question.
@Velanteg Жыл бұрын
This explains many. Kara learned this song about 20 years before main events - same time when Cavil betrayed the Five and destroyed Number Seven model line. Kara father dissappeared after that so he probably was one of Seven line.

I'm Convinced that Starbuck's father was Daniel.. The Cylon model that Brother Cavil said he boxed. Would explain why her mother hated Starbuck, I think she found out the truth about Daniel and took it out on Starbuck after Daniel "disappeared" from their lives because Cavil boxed him. And also why no one else could see him in the bar except for Starbuck. He was projecting to Starbuck like Baltar's "head" Six projected to Baltar.

It makes a fair bit of sense. There's always been something special with Kara, and she's getting visions sorta like some of the other characters.
@Arkalius803 жыл бұрын
The creator of the show debunked that theory. Daniel isn't important to the story, he was only invented to deal with the missing model #7 they created for themselves by assigning 8 to the sharon's (and to create a bit of a Cain/Abel story for Cavil).

My theory for BSG has always been that the messengers and Kara are the Lords of Kobol: that hallucination Baltar is Ares, and hallucination Six is Aphrodite. I think Kara is Athena, the lord who killed herself in despair over the exodus of the Thirteen Tribes. I think she was reborn among the humans. The theory also works with how Admiral Adama views her like a daughter. In the original show, Adama’s daughter was Athena. If my theory holds, then the vision of Kara’s father may have been Zeus
@TheTrueCallen151 Жыл бұрын
Close on Kara, but it's Aurora not Athena, and she's more an avatar rather than the actually Lord of Kobol. Otherwise I agree

Number 7, Daniel was made up later to explain Boomer being number 8. Moore said this himself. It'a nice fan theory but it is just that, creators never intended to convey that Starbuck's dad was number 7, he was human. and i believe yes, this is the scene.

Everyone in the series was a puppet. so who didn't realise she was indeed the human embodiment of the Angel of Death? she was killed, by I think another force and god was forced to return her as a direct angel of sorts. Leoben tormented her with it for so long, and didn't realise himself that he was actually correct all along. you actually can see it on his face when he see's her dead body and it finally dawns on him she is something completely else. what always made me wonder what were the angels of Giaus and Six? were they the two Gods? Mother and Father of creation? or were they actually the Angels, Adam and Eve?
