This past month, Georges St-Pierre followed an animal based diet that consisted of quality meat, organs, and fruit.
Did his inflammation improve? How were his energy levels? Spoiler alert: he felt great!
GSP dropped a few pounds while following this style of eating, and he says he feels just as strong! Most of the weight loss was probably connected to water weight and inflammation.

I'm right there with him. I'm not strict OMAD Carnivore anymore, sometimes here and there, but when I break from the diet, it's not for veggies. I love honey and Milk. I hated honey before going Carnivore... Now, bread and chocolate are a different story. Those things still have allure, even though I know better

@@alpha.0 My diet looks like that of a hypercarnivore. I eat ~6 boiled eggs a day with some slices of cheese (from a brick of cheeses) along with an avocado and some whole milk to break my fast around 10am, I'll eat some low-sugar fruits like berries or oranges around 1pm (sometimes with some no sugar (real) yogurt) for a snack before my main meal, and then I'll eat one pound of 80/20 or 70/30 ground beef (some days I'll have a steak instead) or a pound of wild caught salmon/trout/etc before I end my eating window around 4pm. I use garlic, salt, thyme, rosemary, and various peppers to spice up my meats. That said I'm starting to think I have to move to a Protein Sparing Modified Fasting (PSMF) style of eating because my weight is stable right now and I'm still trying to lose about ten pounds of fat before I get to my ideal body weight. That and I've started exercising a lot more. I cycle 2-3x a week and I bench press 2-3x a week. So I might ditch the dairy (and fruits?) altogether (for awhile at least), which will be hard for me because...IMO I like milk and cheese more than alcoholics like alcohol, but I think I'm gonna move to eating a half pound of 'lean' ground beef or some 'lean' fish every two hours for four times per day. So basically I'll be eating 2 pounds of lean meat/fish within an 8 hour eating window to try and get this last ten pounds of fat off me while making sure I don't lose any/anymore muscle. Hopefully that's how I'll achieve my final goal weight and have six pack abs at 40 lol. FYI: I also drink various coffees (plain) throughout the first half of the day and then various decaf teas (plain) throughout the second half of the day. I'm always drinking something lol.

No he was not, maybe during the last years. 8/9 years ago I saw a video where he ate just a steak. It was in a restaurant in Canada where he used to go . They interviewed the cook who used to prepare his meals. The was saying that he only ate meat no cereals no dairy. It was a cool video but very old. I wish I could find it.

You eat "Fruits"! WDH man, this is the worst of the high sugar carbs. And then you say "Bananas" are good, shoot these are some of the most GMO'd fruits out there! Of course I am a little biased as I take my Animal Based eating seriously. I am a serious OMAD eater and sometimes even OMTD, but i still have lots of body fat to eliminate.
