Do you have a video on how you rig up your reels? Line wise I mean.
@AaronHuntFishing10 ай бұрын
I don't - just how to do it in general or more specifically what I do - how much line, knots, leader length, type of line, etc?

I love fishing when it's cold because others tend to avoid it. Way to be for getting out. That club pond looked really good too. Glad you got one there👍

Hey man! Hope you're doing well. Definitely pushing to get out once per week this year - 2-4 times a week when it's good!

The bass fishing is so tough this time of year. Great job sticking it out and catching a few. That groundhog said spring is right around the corner. I hope so!

Congrats on the new Kistler Hunt series rods! Very cool! I believe the improvements at C.C. Lake are being funded by the income from the parks gas wells. I think I will make a run down there this week to check out what's new at each launch site. Hopefully they improve launch #3 (kayak launch) this season also. Always enjoy your videos from the field.

Appreciate the insights. I think I only used the kayak launch once, and it wasn't oficially opened last year when i was out there in April.

I think its good to see uploads of the bad days of fishing too sometimes, weather its snagging and losing a load of hooks and lures and having to re-tie multiple times and/or blanking. I'm from the UK and only have access to small canals, almost all of our youtube content creators upload only their best days, fishing their best spots which obviously makes sense for content, but for someone like myself who is still quite new to BFS/Lure fishing and doesnt know "the good spots", it kinda puts you off when you go out and blank 2-3 sessions in a row, kinda makes you wanna give up. I think its nice to see/know others with much more experience than you also have those days too. Enjoyed the vid thanks.

Thank you. I don't put all my tough days up, but I do try to keep it real. :)

New docks look great. I love CC, just the right size and variety of water for a day on the yak. My to-do list is getting proficient at marking off shore structure; it's a great lake for it. Stay warm brutha!

Almost forgot, watch out for the Snappers, they love to rob me of 3" Yum dingers when fishing the bottom...rip it right out of my cross rings!
@AaronHuntFishing10 ай бұрын
Yeah - I was kind of shocked how nice they were! I gotta spend some time figuring out the crappie and bluegills out there. nice sizes of each in that lake.

We all have days like that bud. Subbed keep going 🙌
@AaronHuntFishing9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the sub. I learned something in that pond with the micro-texas rig that might help me in a couple other lakes. But it was great to be out instead of having frozen water.

Isn't that an insta360?
@AaronHuntFishing10 ай бұрын
@@yep.fishing Most trips I have 5 cameras with me. GoPro, Insta 360, Sony Mirrorless, Phone, and drone. This trip the 360 decided to jump into "me mode" - I probably accidentally tapped some thing while stowing it away. I'm experimenting with it as a B-roll cam for a while instead of a second "over the shoulder" view. It was an epic release too - the bass sat there and looked right at the lens for moment. :(

I use to tie fg knot for years then the yt gods showed me a knot i love to tie its smaller then a fg and easier to tie. GT knot is name of the knot. I can describe how to tie it.
