I love the contrasting wood colours between the Sapele wood and the Ash as well as the shape. The light blue resin gives a softness to the look of the piece. Well done Morgan! ❤

It's lovely! The chatoyancy popping out on many of the segments is wonderful. I can imagine a ceramic pot made similar to this one. A classic shape with great color spots.

Love this idea. Think I'm going to try a larger version with more resin spots, then fit a some LEDs inside. Should make a nice lamp. By the way. I found an easier way to add small amounts of resin is with a turkey baster.👍

Very beautiful. I also like to use my round carbide cutter more than any other cutter that I have. It makes the transition cuts easier than a regular gouge.

I did not use wood drill bits because they have a point that would have gone through the pieces of wood and the resin would have escaped 😉

Nice piece, but it wouldn’t be for me. It’s a little boring in my opinion. Colors or alternate wood colors would make it pop more for me. Funny, I think it’s the first one he’s made I’m just not enamored with.

I like a lot of beers, but just can’t tolerate IPAs. Doesn’t mean they aren’t good, just not my taste. And yes, it’s an opinion. My video? Wish I could. After 25 years of nursing my carpal tunnel is so bad daily activities leave the nerves with a burning feeling in my hands. I would love to.
