A bit of luck that you didn't have to replace the elbow. Looks great and Steve is sounding good and then, being the dedicated youtuber that you are, you head out in the rain. Thank you and well done.

I like that the addition of the Kn filter makes the Horn + filter+ top engine inspection plate on the front cylinder and the 2 rounded areas of the clutch cover( primary? - new to motorcycles ) make a "southern cross"... sort of. Major difference to the right that is for sure. Also thanks for the ride in the scenery and the knowledge about the frame acting as an airbox.

Cheers mate always appreciate your positive comments. I hadnt thought of the southern cross but its true, but i find the layout now quite pleasing to my eye!

thanks for the vids, im curious how these air filter mods on both sides hold up to the wind? seems like without the extra anchor points like on the original pod filter boxes the new ones may catch alot of wind and get beat up? my virago 750 is my first bike so i baby the heck out of it
@iRidetas5 ай бұрын
With lots of modded bikes in my stable over the years ive never had an issue mate! Maybe over thinking it a bit, they are strong, Enjoy your bike

I’m in Colorado with my virago and there is no smaller hose for the mini breather on the right side and I can’t for the life of me tell where that one would even be coming from 😂 got the k&n on though and it looks f’ing sweet! Way smaller than the bug eye pod can’t wait to get the left side done

Each market seems to be different with what can be under the pods!

Looks way better than stock!👍 But what did you do on the other side, with the fake air filter cover?
@F1ow3rzzk Жыл бұрын
He did a vid of him doin that on his old virago 250 a while back so if it’s the same as the 750 you can watch that vid

@@iRidetas Never got a notification on the answers.. . A late thanks!!😅 And was just thinking, is it really needed to put anything on the breather hose, that tube is just put in to the air pod mount, and don't really get any filtering as it is now?

I also want another airbox there, but what type intake rubber is that? Is that the original rubber that is used to connect the original airfilter? Because the connexion from the intake knee / rubber to the airfilter isn't round, but kinda oval, so I'm wondering how this can fit the K&N filter, as it is perfect round.... And what K&N filter did you use? There are choices between multiple flange diameter sizes, and 54mm isn't one of them... And, how does the OTHER side look now?

So I have a 85 virago 700 and when I take my air filter off I have 2 hoses going the the ailter housing front he top on the carbs is that that you are referring too crank case breather cuz I do need those 2 breather hose to the top my carbs to go somewhere so I'm confused
@iRidetas2 жыл бұрын
Different bike, different generation and different markets have different emissions gear so with out it in front of me im not sure
@MrJohnno893 жыл бұрын
Will you need to rejet the carbs now. With the new air filters ?

Im not sure mate sorry. They are similar so i would guess so!

@@iRidetas its okay! I decided to stick to a stock filter to avoid rejetting of the carb. Best to leave it the way it is, considering I got a high mileage bike
