This question is very malevolent and not an innocent question, there is a reason the journalists on TV are told to stick to it. It insinuates the other party to be a criminal sympathiser and insensitive towards a horrific event, so as to put them in a negative light and in a Defendant's Box, curtailing the weight of their speech against the oppression of Israel. Instead of raising a strong position against the brutalities of crimes committed they now find themselves caught in the position of defending themselves and consumes the time of the interview. It is an evil strategy to subdue any voice raised against the Israeli action, in order to facilitate the ongoing atrocities without a strong resistance.

Freeing Palestine doesn't mean the eradication of Israel. It means the Liberation of the Palestinian people who are dispossessed, who don't have a state, who have suffered decades of occupation, who live under an Apartheid situation. The current Israel-Palestine situation has been described as a "conflict" by some. It's NOT a conflict it is an occupation that has been going on for 75 years by a settler, colonial, apartheid, racist state that was installed by the British., with the acquiescence of many Arab countries that surround the area. So we can never describe it as a "conflict" because it's asymmetric, there is a massive power imbalance between the Palestinians and the Israelis. And we should just really make that clear. When the general public hear the word "conflict", I think it definitely gives the impression that somehow there are two sides that are equal who are battling it out, almost as if there are two standing armies on a field who are facing each other off. This isn't like that at all, the Palestinians have been attempting to survive and to maintain the dignity of Al-Aqsa and the land for 75 years and they've done it with greater aplomb, we should be proud of them for that.
