I understand Blue Fin breed in the Med and that is where huge numbers are trapped and netted by largely the Spanish but in recent years stocks have been decimated. I hope BJ bans EU trawlers from our waters but not only that, places appropriate limits on what is left of our own fishing fleet in order to encourage stocks. The Baltic porpoise is near extinction due to EU fishing policies - we mustn’t let the same thing happen to the Blue Fin - What a fantastic fish!!

It's so good to see the England watching out for the bluefin tuna. They are very special and without strict guidelines the species will go extinct.
