You condensed the reason for Russia into a bitesize chunk with all of the right words, it's the perfect reason and well said I might add. I watched how the UK changed only over the space of the 90s to where we are today and the change is night and day, it's as if the society is the complete inverse of what it was historically, every square foot of truth has now been turned, it seems like a land of smoke and mirrors, no longer is a spade called a spade these days, it's very hard to live there when you follow the absolute truth to it's conclusions, holding truth in a room full of lies is not an easy task for anyone.

Can I tell you the story of my young life?: When I was 11 years old. It was 1991 from December 31 to January 1 at 00_00 time. The last time in the history of mankind the flag of the USSR was lowered. My grandfather cried big tears. He fought in Berlin, fought with the Japanese at Khalkhin Gol (this was before the US dropped bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki) So the man went through 8 years of hell. Then he worked as a bricklayer and carpenter, built factories and hospitals. Grandfather cried not because the symbol of communism would no longer develop at the peak of the country's main building. His tears were dedicated to his generation, which was building a future for their grandchildren. And in his old age, this future - the future of his grandchildren and the fruits of millions of workers, will simply be given away and given into the hands of one or two hundred people. These people were called oligarchs. You you understand that without the CIA in the new Russia citizens had no money to buy factories or oil and gas fields. And we, that generation, were happy. We were happy about the export of American jeans, Snickers, McDonald's. And behind this beautiful wrapper, the country was robbed for 10 years. My grandfather understood this. And he cried. The man cried from impotence. We thought, the USSR is gone, let's be friends, build spaceships together, fly to the stars together. We dreamed that the USA, England, France, Germany, Russia would be able to build an ark together and fly into outer space. After all, creating something new, by all countries, means millions of jobs, many cultural exchanges of experience, this is one bank of resources for the entire planet. What could be more grandiose? The USA, England, France seemed to us like in a movie, people there live a dream. A dream of a big family, you know, like in the movie about the St. Bernard "Beethoven" ... Yes, it's a pity, I did not see the USA of the 70s and early 80s. That's when you were a grandiose dream. I don't want your countries to have the same horror as in Russia in the 90s. When people took out their last shoes to sell to buy milk for their children. I don't want young people under 20 to be drug addicts. And the worst thing is a civil war. A war between neighbors. Today we play football, at the same stadium, live in the same area, and tomorrow he takes a machine gun and starts shooting a burst across the street. The conclusion is this: we always respect everyone, respect your views on life, agree with you on many things, even want to learn a lot from you. And we are always glad to see all decent people. Well, maybe our grandchildren will be able to fly into space now? But we are powerless to stop politicians and global processes.

Well, here you go. I gave out the whole base. Yes, in Russia we live simply "For fun". I don't know how to translate the word "Living on CHILLY" into slang. This is the difference, immigration to Russia for permanent residence is living for rest, for your hobby, there is enough time too. Here you can send all your problems and be yourself. In the "West" - you will always be overtaken by the thought of how to live on, how to pay the bills. Therefore, I will reveal the truth. We simply don't care about all the sanctions. Russia is an original civilization.

Well I tend to refer back to "Maslows Hierarchy of needs", it seems that people are continuously floating down the pyramid to the bottom, worried about survival, worried about food, heat, housing, crime and so on, they have little to no time for concerns of a higher matter any more such as self actualisation, spirituality, morals or philosophy, people in this state are the easiest to control by the UK Government.

@@UngluedBrit I completely agree with you. I will add that we are all different in terms of upbringing, striving for our dreams and setting the main goal. For example, as a native of Russia, a salary of 80-100 thousand rubles is enough for me. My working day is 4 hours a day. Saturday and Sunday are days off. I have my own apartment, inherited from my grandmother. So, for the development of the soul, in two years I mastered the profession of a 3D artist through KZbin lessons. But here, the market for selling my works is very poorly developed. But nothing, continuing to do this hobby, I think to start learning languages, just so that I can read the instructions in another language. I am writing to the fact that Russia does not strive to squeeze all the juices out of a person in immigration, like, for example, in the USA. I know that in order to achieve something in the USA, an immigrant needs to work very hard, most likely 2-3 jobs. It is easier in Russia.

@@СтепанЖиглов-ч3й The reason being is because the core fundamentals of western countries are built on Materialism with no attachment to anything of a spiritual nature, without the spiritual aspect we only find physical attachments to hold onto for dear life, after all, if this is all there is, then it makes sense to attach ourselves to stuff right? Russia has a deep understanding of that which is of the higher nature, of the divine, it’s an environment that is rich and ready within spiritual realms of existence and aims itself towards that through policies and laws, it is hard for the average westerner to understand though it’s a place that puts spirit above the material in many aspects.

@@UngluedBrit I completely agree with you. I just want to add. I am subscribed to the Ukrainian channel, although I am Russian. This does not change anything. So these Ukrainians in the USA buy containers with things in them at auction. These containers are rented, and the contents are rented. It is sad, I look and think... There lived a man, he went through the Vietnam War, here are his medals in the chest of drawers, here they show us his dress uniform of the US Navy. The man served his country, did great things. A lot of things, albums, clocks for the wall, coin collections, gun cases, sconces, tools... And I understand that the man's life ended in a nursing home, and everything he bought will now be sold off during his life. It becomes so sad. In Russia, the average working family can actually afford to buy a house or an apartment in 20-30 years. After themselves, to leave at least real estate to their grandchildren. For you, it is more difficult with the issue of your own real estate. So why waste your life for someone who values your work less than their work? To buy a new series of iPhone? Or a new PlayStation? But on the other hand, you are happy, your language is the most popular, the climate in North America is milder than in Russia, in most states. You have a rich culture, three oceans wash the shores of the USA, many opportunities for a native American to make money quickly, because of your knowledge of English it is easier and faster for you to master programming languages. And the sad thing is that your energy is directed only to a narrow specialty, to earn money. It turns out that we are two hamsters in a cage, only you are a hamster who always wants to run inside the drum, I am a hamster who jumps over the drum and tastes all parts of the cage. I myself am from the UK and have considered relocating to Russia. From having looked at jobs myself in Moscow and Moscow oblast the salaries for delivery drivers with a truck license is £800-£2000 a month. Yandex workers on the bikes are earning £20-£40 a day at best. Normal jobs are £600 a month. Plus you have to consider that apartments in Moscow are not cheap to buy. They seem to have a similar housing problem that we also have when it comes to average wage vs housing costs. Now if you join the military, save money and survive then after a couple of years you could buy a place or well be dead.

I feel if you're going to make this move you should at least have enough to get yourself properly set up and then try to gain employment in one of the higher paying fields of work. Or save enough to buy out right in a smaller city. I'll have to disagree with you on the quality. I've eaten in Russia. And in my opinion British meat is better. But it may be because it's all I've eaten. That's not to say that Russian food is bad. It's really tasty.

I've been to the Uk a couple of times (last time in 2008). Hams and cheeses were in a league of their own, compared to ours. Sausages were utter crap though. As for raw meat, i can't say, but i don't have any issue with pork or chicken quality here, however beef steaks are either proper junk, or very expensive. They can be expensive junk as well.

@@zloychechen5150 Ham and Cheese in England is to be fair the best in the world in my opinion, nobody is beating England at Ham, the french can do one on the cheese front too, Shropshire blue and Red Fox are some of my favourites. Actually it all depends which sausages. In England we have some amazing local butcher sausages, if it’s not supermarket crap and it’s from an award winning butcher, then we’re talking. If you buy steak here it needs to be Miratorg and it needs to be Grassfed, preferably striploin in my opinion, I eat at least a steak a day, have done for a long time, I’m somewhat of a steak expert myself 😉
