I will admit that it is a little harsh and a cruel to cut a fish while it is alive but fish actully don't have any pain receptors making most fish species including carp unable to feel pain so this carp didn't even relized it was getting harmed nor did it feel anything. And the reason why god put fish on this earth is so we can have food to eat because fish is a very important diet to many people on this earth.
