The problem with the RT-PCR test 72 hours before, is that this has to be registered in the Thailand pass. What if you take the test and do not receive a response from the Department of Decision Control until 72 hours have passed? This makes it unpredictable, and makes it difficult with airline tickets that may have to be canceled if you do not get an answer on Thailand passport fast enough .. If you could show RT-PCR test when you came to Thailand, this would have made it much easier. This will not make it easier for the unvaccinated to go to Thailand. And what about us who have had covid 19 and be unvaccinated and have a certificate for this?

It takes 2 days for rtpcr result. One day test and next day result in India. How many time it will take to issue thai pas???

@@vikas5179 Hi, actually I would prefer to travel to India. What's about the registration by Suvidha 72 hours before the flight? Does it work easier than Thailand Pass? Do you have any experience with Suvidha? Here in Germany it's hard to get informations about Suvidha. Best wishes to you🙏

by the way as expected the thai-pass still has issues or bugs (internal server errors.. I made it to address or accomodation portion it lacked several "province" and bkk was one of them) now we can't event choose .

also there are reports of some apllicants recievign the wrong passport information back. Let's hope they sort everything out fast. There are some spelling errors too such as 'Locantion' instead of 'Location'. Some foreigners may not understand that word.

I'm unvaccinated and have a flight for May 6th. When I go to the Thailand pass I'm unable to complete it until I upload the PCR test results. is this correct? Does that mean I upload the PCR test results just a day or two before Flying? is there enough time to get this approved?

it does seem to be the case. The PCR negative results have too be uploaded ASAP when you get your results and then have to wait for the approval QR pass code. Seems the time restrictions add more stress. They should have let us apply for the pass ealrier then just show the PCR to the airline at check -in. Anyway, the risk is having to upload everything quickly and hope Thailadn pass will respond fast. Then you can head for the aiport -stressful, right?

This is my question, too! I was planing to cancle my trip to India, because you have to upload a pcr-test 72 hours before your flight to India. But now it seems this is also the case for Thailand. But Thailand was always only my second choice and it isn't worth this stress.

Could I get the Thailand Pass without vaccination certificate & without pcr-test two weeks before the flight? I'm not vaccinated and would stay 5 days in quarantine. I would do a pcr-test 72 hours before the flight, but I don't want to take the risk of doing the Thailand Pass 72 hours before departure. Is it possible? Do airlines accept a pcr-test just by paper?

your first question I dn't know, but for the seond question you need to check with the airline for the PCR requireent. If you can, ,I would have both -paper and digital QR code. Can keep the QR code on a mobile phone. Personally, I will take both.

Same. Get " api server error " when submit. Try again several times. And then I notice email with key code, 3 emails with different key codes, but all codes return "not registered". They are a mess

Please can you suggest a reason for the ridiculous Thailand pass. I have visited Thailand 3 times since December. Each time I need to upload my passport (how many copies does the Government now have of my passport?). Even though you are awarded a barcode pass - all documents need to be shown at check in and arrival. Would it not be easier to remove the Thailand pass requirement and we just continue showing the paper documents along the journey. It would have been helpful if the Thailand pass could remain valid for 2 - 3 weeks to allow multi country visits. i.e. if I go to Thailand and then need to make a short business trip to Vietnam, then I need to reapply for another Thailand pass. The system is non workable for both business people and tourists wanting to visit more than one country.
