Few tips from vanilla console player: 1. Since knocable archer T4 Freya is going away forever you may consider: - knocking quite a few of her and then sell them as a rare thrall to players and clans who just came to your server or simply didn't know that she's going away forever with Age of Heroes forward - you can use old Freya as live decoration, knock her out and drag her unconcious to prison wall with chains [Bazaar], Khitani standing cage [small wheel of pain from Bazaar] or sacrifice table [Sorcery] to have a trophy from old Ages - you can also use old Freya but placed in the world as a live decor in Bazaar hanging cage or that trap where thrall head and hands are locked [I dunno what the name of that torture decor is, sorry] 2. If you don't want to waste Followers slots on priest thralls you may consider using them now to craft few spare sacrificial daggers using priest that increases their durability. Etc. 3. If you want to wait out beginning of Age of Heroes to see if people are not encoutering bugs that are killing Worker thralls you may consider: - if you're using crafted weapons and tools making few extra spare ones so you don't need to place your ultra rare bladesmith untill you're shure he'll be safe to be placed - same goes with armour you're using, do 1 or 2 spare sets just in case. 4. You'll be needing new armour and illusions arnour for your Worker thalls. You can prep materials for expensive armour sets like Godbreaker set which will give best armour value to protect your thalla. Or you can figure out how to dress them [armour for illusion] tmso you can easly spot them Worker thralls from other thralls for example visitng your Tavern. 5. You may consider building transportatory stone next to where Age of Heroes companions will have their place in Exiled Lands - Freyas hut and jungle because after update players can populate these areas quite intensly. May Crom be with you

@@Eradicati0nn I think Dina is identical in stats, or was the last time people did stat videos, and I suppose things could have changed. Like how randomly Stygian Dancer Is seem to have huge health.

Fortunately, I did include space for a bedroom in a few of them 😂 The crafters won't try to fulfill their needs if there is no available station too, which is a benefit, though with the massive bench radius, they should basically always be available to confer their bonus to a bench

Thanks Eradication! Catch points ... I noticed something you did I haven't done .. they get caught on tables .. long tavern tables.. I'm switch to your barrel table or round table with wooden chair

They do get caught on my tables sometimes too, though I'm a bit out of practice for decorating with the tavern AI in mind. I find round tables are slightly more consistent, but you can get them to behave at long tables too, just gotta push those chairs a little further back than you're used to

For my Sacrificial Blood I'm going full "Dexter Morgan" Outside the walls of Set City there is a group of sorcerers performing that very ritual, If I absolutely _need_ sacrificial blood then I can not think of a more fitting source...

Still waiting for Funcom to officially respond to the players that lost their thralls due to Funcom's error when changing from Summer hours to standard. Personally, I lost 90 thralls, pets, Teddy Bear boss and all their gear.

Same, I signed on this morning, and all thralls are gone. No follers on the list. And one base is completely gone on one server. That could have been my fault as I can't remember exactly when I signed on last.

That’s what happened to them? I lost every fighter, dancer, bar tender and animal I had. At least 50 thralls or more that were on the ground. I had a large wooden box that I had more captured and converted fighters and crafters in, everything in that box disappeared at least another 30 some odd thralls. I got lucky that somehow none of my T-4 crafters that were on work benches disappeared.

oh man, that last one. spoken like a person who has seen some serious sh!t go down on patch day, Iololol. thank you though! never would have even thought of it. stashing the crafters right before the update is a great idea too.

Check your mods too, some of the mods I use apparently will stop being supported when the update comes out. (Better thralls)

Very good point, I've heard of one or two mods being abandoned by their creators, so they may be affected. I think modders already have the AoH C1 devkit, but some might not have had chance to get their work fully updated yet

So what about the different types of perks each unique crafter thrall gives you? Is one going to be able to provide all? Do you still need edgsmiths and the like?

Edgesmiths, Temperwrights etc still exist, but the benches have an enormous radius in which it will be able to take the bonus of any valid thrall within said area, so you will only need one Edgesmith to cover all your benches, in most practical senses. That being said, if you want/need all of the specialized crafters, you'll still need to have one of each, though you likely wouldn't need any more than one of each

As long as you don't put a bed, campfire etc outside your walls, they shouldn't wander out of your base, only around it. I've not observed them just going for an afternoon stroll outside my walls on the test server, but stranger things have happened, hopefully that isn't a bug that crops up at launch 😂
