Lisa Coach Stormy mentioned how she educates women on our culture And this was a great interview However there were a couple CRINGE moments for me ; the times I felt some TYPE OF WAY when you SLICK called her GIRL a few times That’s A No No She’s not your girl&so it’s uncool to call her that; especially on camera in front of your Million Followers Thank You
@ItsPouring5 ай бұрын
@mistress4giveness704 Lisa related to Stormy as a *girl* friend and it seemed the feeling was mutual. They seemed to vibe as EQUALS in a very natural way. In other episodes Lisa can be seen referring to guests as *girl* irrespective of "culture." Where I am from, this is not a "No No" _at all_ and is commonly used in conversation among women from varying backgrounds and cultures who know each other. Perhaps where you are from people refer to each other as _sir_ or _madam_ (for example) but where I live "That's my girl" is a common colloquial expression used as a greeting to which no one takes offense. Nevertheless, it is interesting to hear that in someone else's thinking, this has negative connotations.

She’s bad ass. She believes(knows) that she is in control. She refuses to be a victim. Even when Lisa told her about menopause, her response was to take ownership and fight. Life is not happening to us. We have more power than we realize. I share this mentality.. I wish this for everyone. Pain will come but suffering is a choice. Unchoose it.
@jenniferbalogh40905 ай бұрын
What a psychologically rich life! I highly agree, with the statement "have a vision". If you know where you want to be in X years, life is much more motivating, because you have a goal that you want to change your life for the better. I think many times that's why we feel lost in life, cause we don't have a goal, we don't have a vision. I also like this statement from her: "How you start is not how you have to finish". This statement absolutely gives hope. I also agree with the fact that your environment matters a lot, and to what to expose yourself. I believe that we should intentionally put ourselves in specific environments, or we have to intentionally search for opportunities according to what our goals are. Having a creative imagination for surely help to manifest the life you want.

I'm 46 and I swear my hormones came back 'wrong' when my cycles restarted after I had my 2nd child at 35! Started to go VERY downhill towards 40, and got REALLY bad during the pandemic (43-44). 🫣 My joints were aching so I couldn't exercise (weight then peaked at 203lbs) I had horrible hot flushes, depression, brain fog, anxiety, RAGE over the slightest thing, racing heart, low libido, hair falling out, skin breakouts, sudden food intolerances....generally a nightmare! It's levelling out now that I'm taking 2000IU a day of vit D, a good multivitamin with phytoestrogens, I avoid all alcohol, caffiene and soda, I'm careful with my gluten intake and I do gentle exercise multiple times a week. I've lost 31lbs in 15 months and I'm finally feeling more myself 🙌 but my periods are crazy heavy still, so I'm trialing HRT patches for the next three months to see if they regulate a bit. Big hugs to all going through it! 🤗 I'm so sorry it has cost some of us so much ❤

Hello - I had mood swings for years before I knew I was in menopause. I took St John's Wort pills then daily once I knew. It stopped the moodiness & sadness. I used to get a bit hot but it wasn't too bad. Just took off my jacket and cooled down. Brain fog I got from long covid - just needs rest, good nutrition, a little exercise & use the brain - is the best I could find as treatment. Depression- I don't drink any alcohol if I'm getting depressed ongoing. I gave up sugar- it caused acne, but I noticed I got calm and not angry and if I eat a little sugar, I feel teary the next 1-3 days.

I’ve seen so many people on your show this by far is my favorite. I always felt like being me was very bad because I came from a family of Christian and I don’t fit in. But the way she says be you and don’t change that. I’m a better person because I hear this. I’m a stronger women and smart and a hard worker but no one sees this everyone in my family focuses on the bad I do not the good I’ve overcome. I was in a abusive relationship for 16 years. Got out doing great but no one sees that. But I finally learned that what others think of me is none of my business. What I see myself and how I see myself is what matters. I am a better person I a great woman and I will not change for anyone or belittle myself to make others feel connected to me. I am who I am and if there’s no space for me in your life that’s your loss not mine. I’ve learned this and live by this now. Thank you for your show and for all the great and wonderful women you have on here.!

I’m going through a custody battle I’ve been going through for years and I’m so grateful you shared your story because so many women are in this situation and when you go look for inspiration from other women concerning this you just don’t find anything and it’s a lonely place but she’s absolutely right. When you decide what your truth and reality are…baby you have already won!

This is the second most powerful and impactful podcast for me, after Lisa Nichols interview with Tom Bilyeu. I have listened to Lisa Nichols interview over 50 times and I am listening to this Stormy interview again and again. This interview has shaken me up, disrupted my norm that I was playing victim, blaming others and giving them enormous power over my feelings. It’s gonna change now. I have to take accountability and learn how to stand up for myself. It’s like I am done like a done with my victimhood version. That version didn’t serve me at all and even pushed me back. I needed a powerful and super confident voice to wake me up, that’s what this video did for me. I know I am a different person in my bones after watching this.
