I refer to Sharmon as my shell lady! No shellers has information like she does and that's only one of the reasons I like her over all the ones on youtube! Her calm voice, responds to all your questions (some are too busy to respond but Sharmon does!), she cares about the environment and the animals, she's consistant on her videos in regards to names of shells, the quality, timing etc, and her humor here and there makes me laugh but that's just me lol. I love, love her videos and I never get bored!

I loved this! Sunday's are for worship, rest and Sharmon . SWF Beachlife is wonderful and Sharmon has taught me so much. You can tell by the way she gently picks up creatures and places them back that she truly loves nature. I enjoy the excitement and love she has for shelling. I am a shell alcoholic and it's nice to see that others share the love of beach combing too. I like reading the comments from others and she always comments back. I can not say thank you enough to Sharmon for bringing the beach to those of us that are land locked. You're our superstar!

When is National Sea Shell Day ?. I began a little collection when I was ten.Back in the 1960's, my parents gave me a golden book beach combing guide. I tried hard to memorize it. My collection was stolen. I can still remember each shell. Mom and I would only chance across a shell now and then, being in the Midwest. Just talking about it brings me joy. ( I saw the ocean once, but that was prior to the theft). Blessings !.

Thanks for all that you do I have learned so much from your channel and not to mention just enjoy watching the videos. I'll be heading to swf in sept and haven't been there since I was a young child and with your videos I've already got a few places in mind to visit and now instead of just picking up pretty shells I actually know the names of a lot of them too! And also I really love that you truly appreciate the beach and the animals and its also great to know there is more then just me who has to put the critters back in the water because worry they may not make it back otherwise. Hi, I moved from the east coast of Fl, in '18, to NM. Talk about culture shock, lol. I miss the beaches so much!!! Watching your walks and finding all those beautiful shells and 'critters' just makes me miss Fl even more!!! Now I'm over a mile high in the sky, desert, sandy and absolutely beautiful also, but . . . nothing beats watching the waves along a Fl beach. Period. "When I'm at the beach I stop existing and I start living." I'm glad I finally found your channel and look forward to more adventures with you. Take care, stay safe and healthy. I never miss one of your beach tours. As a youth my parents introduced me to SWF. I started visiting with them in the late 50’s. My favorites when grown up are Sanibel and Boca Grande. My parents eventually retired to Port Charlotte. I have hundreds of shells collected through the years. Sorry I got wordy here when just wanting to say HI!

Sharmon: I finally retired and moved to a mexican beach only to have to return to a mexican lake region ,Lake Chapala, so I could get hip replacement in Guadalajara..... Your channel is such a joy. I totally miss my beach life and hope to return to the next beach when I'm rehabbed. :) I'm eyeballing the Yucatan.

Watching from Cape Town South Africa, we also have some of the best beaches in the world however not as many shells like I see in Florida. You have motivated me to get back on the beach and walk my dogs. What I love about your posts is the respect you have for the critters, you place them back so gently. Love it!

Absolutely loved this video as I love all your videos. Florida is in my blood and I have had the wonderful opportunity to live there. However not at the beach which is my dream. Currently I live back in Michigan where I was born and my children and grandchildren are. SWF is my favorite place to be. Shelling was a favorite past time for me, but mainly on the east coast. I've watched you shelling for so long but this was probably your best video. So many amazing shots with the views and the critters. Planning on coming that way one day, just to go shelling. (I've commented how we don't have many shells on the East coast where I am) Also thought, I wonder if I'll pass the lady that shells, I'd never know because of only seen a hand. 😂 Still trying to figure a good spot to go. And by the way... I've found many of those little tiny shells, the "staircase" and others. Happy Shelling!

Lovely, giving wildlife videos - thank you! I live on the coast of North Somerset, UK (Burnham on Sea) and we have the full force of the Atlantic - especially in winter months. Our shells are mostly the small Baltic Tellin that arrive along the tideline in their thousands and the fragile, white Piddock. Sand for 7 miles. Incidentally, our tides along this shore are the 2nd highest in the world 42 ft (after the Bay of Fundy in Canada) as you will probably know.

I just found your channel and I just LOVE ❤️ it!! I've only been to Florida 6 times and I find it mesmerizing!! My very first look at the ocean blew my mind, I found it to be incredible! Like you I not only love finding shells, I love to know what I have found also. So your explanations have helped me to identify the shells I've found from way back in 1989 on my 1st trip to Ft.
