I crack up every time he says “I’ll put a tablespoon of garlic” the proceeds to put the entire bottle in there😂😂

I just recently bought some hamhocks for Navy beans, but after watching this I'm going to get a pack of 15 bean soup and make them instead. This looks delicious. Thanks so much.

Thank you! I make this Cajun 15 bean soup in my pressure cooker! Your recipe is just the one I’ve been looking for! Thank you! I’ve never thought to cook my ham hocks first! Genius! Thank you! ❤️

Awww! Thank you for your kind words and for your encouragement! Pre-cookiing the ham hocks helps to ensure they are tender without rendering your beans to mush. Be so kind and subscribe to my channel for more recipes and tips from my kitchen. Again thanks!

@kevindonovan5665 I'm not so sure about that, good Sir. Southern cooking gets its origins from an amalgam of cultures. Primarily, West Africa, Native American, and European. China being the first to domesticate the wild boar and then the Spaniards would later introduced it to the States. When it comes to bringing it all together to make it worth eating, you can thank enslaved Africans for that.😊 The Irish certainly are no slouch as cornbeef and cabbage remains a potent staple in the south as well as the entire American country. Shepherds pie is also very popular in the South. So, to say that southern cooking wouldn't exist without the Irish is absolutely and categorically false.

I give you props on.......on one thing..........the music background. I swear I watch all these damn videos and they have the WORST backing tracks playing and playing too loudly.....Me, I would never put music to my vids....but if I did it would be Pat Metheny....but yours was just perfect.....not overwhelming and super chill. thanks mate.
