In today's episode, we're paying a visit to Relay Station Restaurant in Plantersville, TX to do battle with their 85oz steak challenge!
Entrants get 75 minutes to finish an 85oz steak, side salad, baked potato and a bread roll. If you can, you get the $70 meal on the house...

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO:
Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode. Today it’s the biggest steak in Texas! I’ll say no more, other than that I hope you enjoy it, save yourself the trouble of complaining about the cook on the steak 😆, and I’ll see you again on Sunday at a location I’m sure my fellow nerds will love… ‘Til then, stay insatiable! *This series was filmed between April 17th and May 8th.

My uncle did one of these in Iowa a few years back. They totally cheated him too. Brought only half the steak out at first and they REFUSED to cook it any way but extra well done. They also didnt mention that it was only half the steak so when he finished it in 10 minutes he ended up sitting for about 30 minutes before they brought the second half out. Apparently it was cooked at the same time as the first half so it was tough and half cold. During his wait he also ate a plate of fried potatos, 4 slices of texas toast and 4 beers. He ended up running out of time because he had about 15 minutes to finish the cold second half on an almost full stomach. The steak cost $100 if you didnt finish it. And as a kicker it was his birthday and they KNEW that because they brought him a slice of cake at the end of the meal. Total dicks. That place is closed down now.

@@RackwitzG I mean you can, but throwing out random political stuff is just asking for a fight, especially when its pretty off base. The president has very little to do with small local businesses. The "Price of steak" isnt controlled by him. Hell, even if you want to say its cuz of the inflation, The vast majority of that is due to the global supply shortage. Again, not really anything to do with the president. Its a global issue, not a national one. But yea, you can say what you want, but you just look like some ignorant guy on the internet looking to blame everything on the political party you dont like on a video that has nothing to do with politics. Its not a good look. Its especially bad when you use the term "Brandon" too which was only really meant as an insult. If you use the grease from sausage, a tablespoon of flour, and a cup of milk/cream, you can make a creamy gravy like that. Once you get the flour to a no lump state, add a few more cups of milk, and simmer till you reach a consistency you like. Salt and pepper to taste, and boom. Country gravy.

Saw you briefly dip the baked potato in the last of the cream gravy, and that's an excellent choice! Cream gravy on a bacon and cheese baked potato is phenomenal! Not done in enough places, in my opinion! And speaking of spuds, if you ever visit the TX area again, you should head to Chips Old Fashioned Hamburgers in Dallas, off of Lovers Ln. They don't have any food challenges that I am aware of, (this is more being suggested for your own personal meal enjoyment during your off-camera time) but what they DO have is a MASSIVE (American) FOOTBALL-SIZED BAKED POTATO! You can get it done up in all sorts of ways, but my personal favorite way they do them is loaded up with bacon, cheese, chives, crispy fried chicken tenders, and smothered in cream gravy! It's the absolute best! Heck, you could always just make your own personal food challenge with their meals, as they tend to be quite heavy handed in their portion sizes! I guarantee, you'll enjoy your meal there for sure, whatever you get! And, it's all very reasonably priced too! Just make sure to get at least one of their super-sized spuds, alright? Also, that was cucumber in your salad, not zucchini

Cobbler is just like a pie, but typically in a square baking dish and sometimes deeper than a pie. Same filling. Maybe some crumbles on top. They served it in a sundae dish with vanilla ice cream on top, most likely because cobbler tends to be quite messy and it's easier contained in a bowl than a plate. Plus most places server it hot with the ice cream.

No, he mentioned the cucumber right before that. In the UK a zucchini is called a courgette, which is why he asked what it was called 8n the US, and then he said "zucchini.." That was a slice of raw zucchini. You can tell because it has a dark peel around the edges. Its my favorite salad ingredient. If you haven't eaten sliced raw zucchini and you like salad, please try it! You can also slice yellow squash raw and it tastes similar. Both are technically squashes and both are mild and crunchy. Perfect for salad.
