Yannis has some insane vocal range, pretty much a countertenor. He's even covered Nightwish's 'Ghost Love Score' in the original soprano vocal range. I understand that their main songwriter is a huge Anime fan, and it influences their music, and sometimes their lyrics.

These guys are what I call "Euro-metal" at its finest! And I get the Nightwish comparison - they actually toured the US together, a few years ago. Rock on, Millie! 🤘😎👍

"Beast in Black”, like Nightwish, is Finnish. On Nightwish's last tour, they were one of two support acts. The second (actually first in order), was also Finnish Turmion Kätilöt playing alternative industrial metal and singing, unlike the rest, in Finnish. I was personally at this concert. The idea was probably to showcase three Finnish bands. “Beast in Black” personally makes me think of some New Wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) bands like Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. The vocals I often associate with Klaus Meine of the German Scorpions.

This song was played in radio in Finland to point i got really bored about it I don't even listen radio but that time workmates did). You might wanna check their new single and video Power of the beast, or Moonlight rendezvous.

When you said "industrial and 80s", it immediately took to two songs, two Queen songs. Are you reacting to Queen sometime? Why not more Queen? Maybe copyright issues? I’m on your Patreon and I haven’t seen Queen there, either. Just curious 😀 "industrial"? Two Queen songs, "Radio ga ga". You heard it on the Live Aid show, but the studio version? Different. And the second one, "Machines (Back to humans)", a hidden masterpiece in the album The Works. React to some Queen, dear Millie 😁
