Try eating an anti inflammatory diet. No preservatives, sugar, bread or junk food if any kind. It has helped me. My heart goes out to you because my hands are bad but walk well. I do not take any drugs for arthritis. The lack of compassion by your doctor is annoying.

I really wish I lived near this hospital. I have terrible entire body stiffness with swelling, my hands often swell and hurt couldn't walk for a month. My doctor says it's just arthritis. I cry all of the time I can't get into to see a RA because they say I'm not in bad shape. I live in Las Vegas health care is very different here.

You may have to travel to find a rheumatologist. I have the same symptoms and I suffer greatly, so I sympathize with you.

They can do a blood test for ra factor test and a sed rate test for inflammation.

My mom has been on a plan for 7 months. Her RA physician doesn’t communicate with her pcp and has been stagnating the whole process. What can we do?

It may be time to find a new rheumatologist. Just a thought 🤷🏽‍♀️, I see my new one tomorrow. This will be my 3rd but I need someone who listens and WANTS to help me
