Thank you for sharing this. I have a hard time cleaning my brushes. I will come up with a method you've shown me. Thanks again!

First time I used them I did it this exact way and the bristles puffed all out like crazy everywhere..I had to mold them in paper towel overnight to get the shape back? Thoughts

Obviously that paint rag gets reused, so how do you safely store it? I'm nervous about the fire hazard with these used rags. I store my used paper towels in cans with water and lids on them until I can take them to the hazardous waste center.

Do brushes need to be immediately washed after use or can they sit for a bit before doing this step?

Do you do the same thing with fan brushes?

I would not recommend beating the devil out of a fan brush. Just dip those in the thinner bucket and run across the screen then wipe clean with a towel

Just wipe the devil out of it!

That's right! Much easier on the brushes, but beating the devil out of them is fun.

@@paintwithbram coincidentally we clean our brushes very similarly! Except I only have one thinner bucket. I agree that being gentle on the brushes will pay you dividends. Sometimes it is fun to beat em though!
