Beating Ultimate Challenge 225 gameplay footage! Puzzles and Survival

This is the gameplay footage for my winning attempt on Ultimate Challenge 225! No voice over I'll put the winning strategy below the description. Hope this video helps illustrate the key points to winning this difficult challenge. You definitely need to neutralize Ephraim and getting all the right tiles to help you do that can take many attempts. Winning strategy for UC225
Winning Hero lineup:
Phoenix, Meyers, Mantis, Requiem, Lady M
(The order of heroes has no significant difference in the outcome of the battle)
Like many battles in Ultimate Challenge, the main thing to remember is that if you can prevent the strongest enemy from using their rage skill to attack your heroes then you will have the greatest chance at success. In UC225, the main enemy you want to focus on is Ephraim. He can easily wipe out your heroes in 1 or two shots, especially if your heroes aren't at a very high level. This is why you want to use Mantis, Lady M and Requiem. Lady M will prevent rage fill while Mantis will steal rage and Requiem has a chance to stun Ephraim for 2 rounds. If you can manage to keep Ephraim's rage low and never allow it to fill then you will have a great chance at beating this level. Meyers of course always helps as he removes any buffs the enemies may have as well as increasing your heroes attack %. Just remember to always use Meyers after Lady M because she will prevent his "hit miss" debuff from taking affect on your heroes. Phoenix of course does damage over time and has a strong attack however she can be substituted for a strong McCarty or other hero if need be. It is typically better to have more gold heroes on this level than red since the front line enemies (Mantis if Ephraim has some rage. If his rage is completly empty or not going up due to Lady M's skill then save Mantis for a round or two until Ephraim actually has rage. This can increase your chances of using Lady M on Ephraim preventing him from ever filling his rage. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Also would love to hear you commentate once in a while ;) Unrelated to the vid but what's the casualty you allow when doing zombie runs? I've only recently realized that soldiers actually die from doin em so I no longer go for the highest one I can beat

I just beat this level with exactly the same line up except 6* +5 mantis. Mantis and Lady M were huge in this level. Your videos were a huge help in me beating levels 180-225, but now I’m stuck on the seemingly impossible level 230 with no healers lol.

Finally reached it, pathetic level lol My lvl 310 lady m dies from two basic zombie attacks, their damage here is insane... my question: what affects the rage gain speed, i have the feeling that your heroes gain their rage way faster than mine?

Rage speed is based off of the heroes themselves and the tiles that are cleared. Tiles that don't hit an enemy actually fill rage faster than tiles that do hit an enemy. I also think that tiles that do very little damage fill rage more slowly but haven't really confirmed that.

Lady m helps if you have her. If you use lady m before you use meyers then she will prevent him from adding a debuff on to your heroes so their attack will go up but they wont miss (as often). Good luck@
