Hello Larson farms, first off thank you for farming and feeding us. You guys are amazing doing all the work and maintenance on the farm. Best farm channel on KZbin by far. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming, catch you on the next one. God bless you and your family.
@BSGSV

These guys are great and are highly productive for the country and one of the BEST KZbin farming channels in terms of production quality and consistency. But they aren't producing our table food. The corn goes to ethanol production and soybeans are for industrial production of oils, animal feed and exports. I am still looking for a food farming channel if you know one :). Most US food production comes from California followed by Iowa, Texas, Nebraska and Illinois.

I had to laugh at your reaction to the soured corn that came out when Chet opened the access panel of the dryer. Years ago I worked for an IH dealer, and we had a 303 combine come in that had the grain tank partially full and had broken down (unloading auger), and was left sitting outside all winter. Next season came, and it sat through spring tillage and planting, and wasn't brought in for repairs until late spring / early summer. When it finally got to us, I was given the job of draining the grain tank, so repairs could be done. I drained two 55 gallon drums of rotten corn, water, and maggots, out of that thing. It smelled exactly like beer, and was just disgusting. Haven't been able to look a can of beer in the face since, including a stint in the Navy. Thanks for a chuckle, always enjoy your stuff.

Ok. The trick with the rope is this. 1) guy up top holds onto the free end of the rope tightly. The guy on the bottom walks away from the tower a little ways. Not directly under the structure. 2) then the guy on the ground pulls the rope hard and the guy at the top let’s the free end go. The rope will coil nicely on the ground away from the tower with not getting hung up on the bracing, crossmembers or climbing pegs. That is a miserable job to untangle a rope by climbing through the structure all the way down. I used to put up cell phone towers (12 yrs experience).
