Thank you Becky. It has been a very difficult journey for him and myself. I can barely remember a time when he was not tormented by some health issue, whether it be physical or mental. I appreciate you keeping him in your prayers.

Thank you so much. It has been almost 10 years of stress trying to find something that works for him without side effects. Add in depression, and I have my hands full trying to get him to a good place. I always envy people who are retired and don't have to worry anymore about their adult children. It must be nice.

Julie, it has been a rocky rough road and it is still a rollercoaster ride. Every year I pray things get better but we always seem to be at the same place. I am hoping things turn around for him soon. He is really dealing with a lot.

Your hair color still looks amazing! I bought the Zmondo hair glossing treatment as well and I think I'm loving it. Thanks for recommending it - I never heard of this product until you mentioned it.

I really love this. I actually like this color a lot. I may try the warmer 5G but still waiting to see how this one fades.

Hi Marla, thanks for this great video with your recs. You look fabulous - the hair, your skin and that lip colour! Your rec for MAC strobe cream - I haven't heard about MAC in a long time - maybe it's time to look into them again. thx.
@happytrails699Ай бұрын
I really love that Mac product. It just lights up my cheeks. Only good if you like more glowy, and not matte though.

Did you do anything else to your hair? It looks fantastic! I love the way just a little grey is showing. It's looks just gorgeous, but I don't want to jump in without finding out if you tweaked it at all in the 11 days between videos. Thanks in advance!
@happytrails699Ай бұрын
No, I only applied the product. I did not want to tweak anything at all, because I am currently filming how the product fades over time with washings. I wash my hair every day so I will be curious to see how long the color lasts. I will post the video once most of the product has been washed out.
@cIvy726Ай бұрын
@@happytrails699 Thanks for answering :0) May I also ask if it's just different lighting, or if your grey does show through a little bit? I want to use something that enriches my hair colour and tints the grey without obscuring it completely. What I want, is just the way your hair looks here! It's perfect! Thanks again!

Hi. I haven't been getting notifications. My hair has been falling by single strands constantly for months. I've tried a lot of topicals and supplements. Many doctors, no answers. I know that you addressed your hair loss in the past. Do you have recommendations? Ty

Have you had your thyroid checked? I am sure your docs already ran those labs. I wish I could give you a magic potion that would have your hair grow in thicker, but I have yet to find one. The products I have tried have sparked fine baby hairs to grow, but I have yet to find anything that grows denser hair. I know a lot of people swear by rosemary oil, some of my friends use minoxidil, I have tried both Collective Laboratories and Vegamour, but they only grew in baby hairs.

@@happytrails699 Hi Marla. I feel like I am playing whack-a-mole. I saw a new dermatologist Tuesday (who does a lot of hair loss cases). He went over my history, labs; looked at fingernails and scalp. Called in Rx's for: oral minoxidil, Finasteride (tabs); Spironolactone. He told me to start immediately. Then, he sent me to the lab for 3 pages of lab work. I am not one to take meds. I was turned off immediately, especially starting meds BEFORE the lab results. However, the following morning, my hair is falling out like Niagara Falls. I am backed against a wall. Go bald, or, take meds. Note: a scalp biopsy done 2 years ago - androgenic alopecia. This doctor said it could be telegon effluvian. I am in a dark place.

Facelift?….good job if yes
@happytrails699Ай бұрын
No, just Retin A every day. Got botox very frequently a few years ago but stopped once I hit 62. No cosmetic surgeries for this face. I am a chronic pain patient and refuse to put myself thru anymore pain than I already have to deal with.

Joy, still on a rollercoaster ride. One step forward and two steps back. Trying to be positive but after 8 years it is getting harder and harder. Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts.
