EVERY Easter Barbie Doll!

It really depresses me seeing how the Barbies from when I was a kid are so much more detailed than what kids get now. These were dolls you would find in the supermarket (most of them; obviously not the collector ones). They weren't the budget dolls (aka the annual swimwear dolls which were always AMAZING). But they weren't the dolls in the bigger boxes with the special gimmicks. Also, the best of this theme is Springtime Magic Barbie. You could buy the outfit by itself or get a doll wearing it. It's a doll/outfit from 1983 and is an amazingly beautiful dress.

Mom always sewed out ]]r Easter dresses for church every year, and I'll never forget the year she made a matching dress for my Barbie doll out of the scraps from mine. And we always used the plastic eggs from our Easter baskets to make things for our dolls: mixing bowls, sinks, toilets, helmets, etc.

Russel Stover. It's a really popular candy company with slightly older folk here in the US. I personally think they're candy especially their chocolate is like sickeningly sweet but they do make some pretty well-known candies especially boxes of chocolates.

Easter baskets for me are associated with Ken dolls. My parents got me Barbies for my birthday and Christmas and other events but for some reason I got Ken dolls for Easter!

It is the beginning of Autumn here in Australia. I'm from Queensland and Easter is when the weather finally starts to cool down. We have to keep our chocolate eggs in the fridge or buy them last minute otherwise they will melt. I really like all the 90's Barbies because they come with a huge dash of nostalgia for me.

Enjoyed seeing all the beautiful spring Barbies. By 1995 most major retailers had Easter, Halloween and Christmas Barbies with their store name on the box. That was a great time for collectors you got good value for your money! Take care .

The easter dolls were so cute. I had a few of them in the 90s and then the quality took a nose dive and that was it. The 12 days of during doll is stunning but the price is ridiculous!! Too bad. Hopefully it will go on sale. Great video as always

Fully agree Easter is honestly just another Sunday for me it kinda was always just a Sunday for my whole family I remember an Easter when I was about 14-15 on Saturday night before Easter Sunday my dad handed me a plastic shopping bag of Easter candy a big wicker basket and some artificial colored grass and “ here put you’re Easter basket together I’m going to bed” 🤣😂🤣😂 I have 2 siblings and we always just had one big basket between the 3 of us and honestly it more than did the job!

There’s another Spring themed Barbie called Pretty Flowers Barbie and there are 4 different dolls in the series: blonde, brunette, redhead and African American. I saw them all on EBay.

This video really reiterated for me just how much I prefer the Superstar face! As soon as the switch happened in the late 90s, her appeal dropped greatly. And the obvious drop in quality makes me so sad- I hope they build it back up some day. I don't have any Easter Barbies- I don't actually celebrate Easter. But there are some pretty ones here!

I have Easter Charm! The main reason I picked her up is she has violet eyes. She is quite pretty in person. The molded on tops look like you could just skirt swap with the later Dreamtopia dolls. I'm a follower from Egypt 🇪🇬 Would love to see you covering the middle eastern / north African representation of Barbie. As far as I know there's been couple of Barbies released with Moroccan traditional clothing and one ancient Egyptian. There's only one hijabi (veiled) Barbie which was made in honor of Ibtihaj Muhammad -the American fencer-. Growing up in the middle east in the 90s and early 2000s most of the Barbies that we had in the market were the white/caucasian ones which kept me wondering is it based on market research that girls would prefer to have white dolls? Oh and also in the early 2000s some Sheikhs -Muslim religious men- stated that Muslim girls shouldn't be playing with Barbies coz they'd be encouraged to wear revealing clothes and heavy make-up. Around the same time Fula -a replica of Barbie- was released wearing either veil and/or modest clothes. I think it'll be interesting to have this covered in your channel. Hope you see my comment. I have the one you have 3:32 and she's really cute, I got her as an Easter gift from my mom a couple years ago. I also have the Spring one 4:05 with all the flowers, it does seem like a lot going on, but she's *so* beautiful irl I really love her, I also got her as a gift from my mom last year for my birthday. 9:40 I have the one you didn't like lol, she's actually one of my childhood dolls that I still have, I personally love her dress, I like the colors/pattern and I like that the top half looks like a collared shirt. Funny I just bought 5:45Avon’s Spring blossom Barbie at a farmers market for 10$ yesterday after Easter breakfast with my in-laws, she’s beautiful and her hair is soft, she was my Easter present for my self. 😊 Speaking of Easter Barbies from 2015 to today, I work at a pharmacy and we always get a Barbie themed basket with a generic Barbie with a cheap looking pastel dress with toy jewelry and glasses. Sad that their quality went down so quick even their Easter basket wasn’t even Easter themed, only Mattel’s brand 😔

I think that last one (2024) is a Silkstone Barbie, they are highly priced because they are made out or resin I believe. They are so heavy compared to regular Barbie. It will be a while before they come down in price.

I kinda like Easter, but Easter in Poland is veeery different than most anglophone places I think. Since we are Catholic we actually celebrate it as an important holiday so there's Easter breakfast, free days and all that stuff. Not that I'm religious because I'm not lol but I actually enjoyed going to church on Easter to bless the basket with colorful eggs and stuff. We don't do that anymore but yeah I have nice memories of it.

Great video! I only had one of these Barbies which was the 1997 Easter Barbie. I never knew there were so many of them just like the Valentine's Barbie. I used to have the 2 of the 4 season dolls. The spring and winter ones. I sent them to my granddaughter. They are one of the best dolls made. I keep asking myself why I rejoined Mattel Creations, especially when the $160 spring/Easter doll came out. I agree she is overpriced. Tbh I am more interested in the Integrity doll clothes and dolls than I am about Barbie now. I do love the looks line and hope to find them here in the states where I live though. Mostly, I have to get my dolls online because we don't get much in our small city. We have a Target and Walmart. We don't have any toy stores here. I love your honest opinions and also hate the molded on tops made for Barbie. They are supposed to be fashion dolls to dress, and you can't do that with a molded top. Geez, when will Mattel get it?
