Oh, how I need to get back into a routine! Before and during the Pandemic, my cousin and I would walk for at least an hour. Before, we would meet and walk all through the park and up some of our older streets in town. During the Pandemic, we would still walk but in our separate neighborhoods and talk on our phones! This summer I have just not been motivated and do a lot of procrastinating! This vlog was GREAT because I NEEDED to be reminded to get back out there! I felt so good when we were walking regularly! And you are right when you said sometimes you need to be nudged a bit! Thanks for the nudge..LOL. Love and blessings to you and Stewart and Johanna ( she is AWESOME)!!

Greetings, Linda. Thank you for sharing your morning routine with us. It was inspirational and motivational. I too enjoy getting up at 5 a.m. [sometimes 4:30 a.m.]. It comes naturally and don't need an alarm clock. If I am not able to view a full moon at night, I can see it early in the a.m. when it has moved westward, ready to disappear for the day. And, right after viewing the bright moon, the sunrise follows in the east. It is a glorious time of day, indeed. You, Linda, get more done in one morning, than most people accomplish in one day. You are worthy of much admiration and you certainly get my applause.

Hi Linda and Stewart Good show! Are you aware that you intermittent fast ? The schedule for food you are on if you do not typically eat until noon and stop eating after an early dinner is intermittent fasting. Very good for you. There are many books and videos on this subject. Very popular way to reduce long Covid symptoms as well. It’s not just for weight loss. And you can drink until that first meal. Coffee no sugar or milk tea water some people do coconut oil. That blue dress was a good choice. Brings out your sparkly blue eyes! Have a nice weekend🙂

I would also need a trainer to keep me motivated and consistent with exercise. My mother's name was Johanna and she was German. When she came to the U.S. people either called her Anna or Erna. I would kill to have her gorgeous figure, but now at 68 that's a dream and a miracle for me. I tried that last balance exercise and had no problem with it which is surprising since I have M.S. and thought I'd be wobbly. I'm happy because I too worry about falling. I plan to try to do that exercise every day now that you've shown it to us. I retired as a nurse 2.5 years ago and I'd be up at 5am and have to be on shift at 7am, but now I'm up at 7am and I love "sleeping in" so to speak. LOL

Regarding fruit in the morning: Especially the pitted fruit like plum, peach, etc. Pitted fruit bears almost no resemblance to their ancestors. Some even have as much sugar as a can of cola!! You wouldn’t drink Pepsi for breakfast! The only fruit I would eat at breakfast time are blueberries, and even THOSE are a bit too sugary, but are offset by their remarkable health benefits. Do you juice? The rule of thumb(but not in the morning),is eat fruit(fiber) and juice veggies(vitamins). Although watermelon is good all day long. Why? Because I just love watermelon😂😂
