I SO appreciate your candor here Rich- such a great speaker as well, I can’t wait to get both books - Im an artist ( WFPB) who has a gallery in downtown Bentonville AR and I face imposter syndrome many many days ! I love Seth Godins take on that which is of course we feel this way because we’ve never done this before - if we didn’t feel that way we’d be a psychopath 🤣true …… art and helping people with plant based eating are my two passions and it causes me to have to renew my mind daily - sometimes I stink at that, sometimes I submit to it - I’ve listened to so many of your podcasts and have enjoyed them immensely! I of course found you through all the plant based documentaries and have your beautiful cookbook with your sweet wife / thank you for all you do for the world ! It influences me to try and impact the world in any way I can!

Rich I listen to all your podcasts because of you! It would be great to hear your opinion on topics of interest. You are incredibly articulate and have a calm, reassuring demeanor. Big fan of James too!! Great interview!

James, your energy, vigor, and zest for life is infectious ! I'll be subscribing for sure. Can't wait to see what ya can do man. Rich...for myself, and i assume the rest of the fans of you and your show, we are fans of you first and foremost. Yes, your guests are great...many have given me new perspectives and led me to new insights I never would have gotten to in a zillion years, and for that I am grateful. But the reasons we all keep coming back lie somewhere in our relationships with you. Some of us relate to you as athletes, some of us as sober warriors, and others as plant based heroes....somewhere, nonetheless, there's a connection and it's different for each of us. And to the point you made of being a bit unsure if a solo thing is something you'd entertain...i'd say for sure, if not only for the fact that it scares ya a bit. The podcast isn't getting to vanilla, but as you said, it's in a routine and comfortable. Best time to try something new...shake it up...that's where all growth begins brother.

This was great. I love being exposed to new ideas and ways of considering things. Some guests you have on are already favorites of mine, but often - it is someone that I'm completely unfamiliar with. Much appreciated engaging and respectful dialogue. You ROCK! !! Thanks.

Very interesting conversation - a great guest who asked the right question. Finally, we could hear more your opinions on various topics. This format of podcast is more interesting to me when is interaction rather than the question and an answer. The audience is curious about your point of view on many topics, great that James notices that fact. I follow your weekly podcast because you are a great host, you do not judge, here was great interaction. What It comes to my attention he tries to help you and I am agree with that what he said in 100%. Hope It give you more courage. It was great - keep going ;)

Yeah, I also found it quite interesting how James’ thought process works. How he questions things that I would just take as given, such as the 10,000 hour rule.

My absolute two most favourite podcasters ... and the reason I listen is because you "don't" always bring people who are using a podcast booking to market a book. You talk with people who are different and who are interesting. The perfect triad of podcasters/video podcast for me includes Tom Bilyeu on Impact Theory. I think its the difference between a canned 35 - 55 minute talking point interview VS these real people to people conversations. I would to hear some solo shows from both of you as well, to get your perspectives on different things.

1:15:09 Has anyone ever walked up to you and said, "Oh my god, Rich Roll, your Instagram changed my life?" No one has said to me, "Oh, man, your Instagram I love it I check it out every day!" But I bet they have come up to you and said, "Rich, your podcast changed my life!" -James Altucher

Props for countering some of your guests really naive statements regarding billionaires. I really appreciate it if you're not afraid to disagree with your guests here and there(and I think you really excel at formulating critique in a calm & non-esqualating manner).

Rich, I love you and your content. The only thing I wish is that you would use your platform to highlight anti-racism and elevate BIPOC voices more frequently. I read your disclaimer for this video and appreciated your instagram post, but I've been wanting to see more diverse guests on your show since I first tuned in. Wishing you all the best - I otherwise love your content and your interview style.

@evelyn baron So sorry. Thank you for sharing your experience and insight with us. I truly wish you deep healing, kindness, real rest and comfort in your grieving. Grieving is so individual and not really encouraged in our modern day life. Take the time. Make your well-being a real priority.

Is Altucher a scam artist? He has these crazy long-pitches to sell investing schemes - it all seems sketchy. Maybe he’s just Fred Armisen playing an eccentric scam artist? - like an ongoing Andy Kaufman bit

@ili6264 жыл бұрын
Debbie Colbourn, if he is legit, then I’ve allowed my cynicism to mess up an opportunity for me. He really seemed sketchy - there were weird things about his pitch.. like obvious red flags.
@ili6264 жыл бұрын
Debbie Colbourn - In his long pitch he says his Seven Day Glitch algorithm won’t work anymore if too many people use it.. so he limits the number of people he shares it with. But it still makes no sense that he would share it at all, despite saying he wants to help people. I messaged him.. saying that if he really wanted to help people, he’d keep it a secret so it wouldn’t be ruined and become a multi-billionaire who could just give money away. No reply. His claims and his actions just don’t match up. Other red flags stood out more clearly than this one, but this one was the biggest one

@@rogerc23 Altucher really is an old school scam-artist updated for the internet age. There was the "bitcoin genius" scam where Altucher targeted "information products" to literally the whole internet back in 2017. Turns out it was all bullshit and endless up-sells. There's a sucker born every minute. BTW, he seems to have done a good job of cleaning this stuff off of search engines but you can still find some if you look hard enough... here's one that's pretty damning: medium.com/@wrenbjor/dont-trust-james-altucher-s-crypto-advice-6735b9836fe5
