It's been 2 months since I started Wim's method. His breathing techniques, combined with CBT, therapy, very light medication, and meditation, have taught me basically the same things that you guys discovered. The mind is our greatest ally IF WE LET IT BE. Our incorruptible soul teaches us that WE ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH. Remembering the positives, knowing that our awesome-sauce is unique and each one of us is EMPOWERED, POWERFUL, and capable of spreading our light so much. You are not broken. You are not what society labels you. You are not your trauma. You are bigger than your job, your life situation, your bank account, your car, your relationships, your family, even your kids. Shine your light!

Dear Yes Theory, You all had no valid reason to be hiking etc wearing nothing but underwear. This was nothing to do with overcoming social barriers or coming out of your comfort zone. It makes no sense why you did this and started to adjust, but then you reverted back to your real lives where you wear clothes when you’re out and keep warm when you’re in. Are you all hallucinating now? Do you have severe concussion? Is that why you’ve done such life threatening stupid things? Respect for you was lost from this video. Especially after sharing on such a platform. And no saying don’t try this at home doesn’t excuse the fact children are impressionable. It doesn’t change the fact that if a child copies you and gets hurt or dies if will be your fault. And not only will it be ukr fault but a child will be hurt. And no it’s nothing like an ice bath it’s 50x more extreme but even the ice baths were dangerous. If you wanna record yourselves literally virtually killing yourselves for views then don’t make such a video available on platforms where so many vulnerable people can see. But how about yall just don’t do anything that will DIRECTLY make you die a slow, “uncomfortable”, undignified and horrible death.
@hussainshaik47785 жыл бұрын
@@user-tw8kt1gs3u they don't need a reason that you think is valid. It's their channel, they can do whatever they want. They gave a disclaimer, if a child is too immature to not listen, maybe their parents ought to not allow them to watch such vids. This was a great video. Also no one was gonna die. 'virtually killing yourselves' pfft you make it sound like they tried jumping over speeding cars. This was a planned and professional video. Get over yourself

Such an inspiring video. Love the beautiful end. My wife got diagnosed with breast cancer last month and we found Wim, all the cancer success stories make us confident we can beat it. I avoided Wim for years because I hated the cold and didn’t want to believe it. We’ve done the ice bath about 7 times now and it’s amazing how fast you adapt to it. I was shivering at first in only 65 degrees and now it’s almost pleasurable! The first part still sings through, but you do feel good! Really good! I want to do it more than once a day now but we don’t have enough ice! 😂 I’m going to do one at 11am and then another a few hours later. This winter will be interesting. I end up having so much more energy! It’s getting last that first time, and forcing yourself to do it a few more times. I associate it with positive feelings now! Kind of a positive masochism! 😅 I feel like I’ve taken a stimulant! I have full body inflammation in various forms, my own issues, and I truly feel like this is as good a Wim is trying to show people. Seriously buy yourself a large deep freezer and get a bunch of cheap reusable water bottles, tip a little out so they don’t burst, then throw them all in a pool (you can get a perfectly adequate one for only about $60) and just do it. It’s tough at first, but you can do it. You will feel good if you get past the first stage. Even small exposure is good. Poor circulation? Hands and feet in ice water. That’s literally what the oncologist said to do if a cancer patient experiences neuropathy while getting a chemo infusion. Benefits of cold therapy has been shown before Wim, but Wim showed it’s capable of FAR more than the mainstream thought was possible! You guys are awesome for doing this. Wim is a great role model, but you guys are as well.

It’s crazy how 1 video can change your perspective of yourself, your limits, and life
@user-tw8kt1gs3u5 жыл бұрын

The human species survived the last ice age. We have evoved to be fit to survive this world. Modern lifestyle (which I really enjoy btw XD) has moved this old norm out of the way. I'm not saying let's embrace our species past. But it is possible. This adventure. This challenge. This awe inspiring feat is absolutely incredible. It raises my respect for these amazing people. This channel has fun, they push social borders, they sneak in to places, they are original. But this... this feat is, like you said, theres no valid reasn, in our normal comfort filled lives, to be hiking in underwear. In the video, they were just as, if not more skepticle than you are in this post. But their expeerience motivated me, a viewer, to commit to morning workouts this week. To get off my butt, out of my bed, fight depression that says stay in bed, and start my day productively. Yes. Your concern is valid. People will do stupid things. But in this video, they made it vry clear this was dangerous. That no one should do this. and more. We live in a world where online challenges make kids eat glue, jump out of moving cars, and shove marshmallows in their mouths. Those are stupid, and not valid. But this... this is inspirational. This is impressive. This is why I love this channel. "Kids" are not the intended audience of this channel. And the kids I have encountered in this community are smart. They see the problem with comfort zones. And that in itself requires thought. "kids" in this community, are not as stupid as you make them sound.

I think the moment you don't allow yourself to fight back, you might as well have given up. Fighting back will always make you prevail. The real problem lies in our day to day lives in which we have decided permanently not to fight back and to submit. The moment you would fight back you would punch your boss in the face and kick him and the nuts and throw him off the office building. Don't fucking submit.

This…. ….this is amazing. As a person who often feels consumed by anxiety, and stress, and worry,…seeing this could have a potentially life altering impact. When they’re preparing to get into the water for 10 minutes and he tells the group (I’m paraphrasing) ‘let the body do what it’s gonna do but keep control of your mind’…that hit me like a ton of bricks. This was inspiring and I’d suggest to anyone who’s going through trauma or stress or anything like that to watch this and listen to the message. The fact that WE can control our minds despite what our body is telling us and therefore can have complete control of both our minds and bodies is enough evidence for me to realize that we can achieve so much more than we think we can. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.
