The saddle mounts is a great idea. Also the mid drive idea is something to think about as peddling is not the most functional, so getting all that extra torque would suit this behemoth of a bike in weight and length too. Good looking bike, but the speed would bother me as you’d rightfully expect more from the size and look of it. Perhaps a 1500-2000 hub drive would give the results desired like 45mph and far more torque to go up hills easily on throttle alone. Great review as always. Thanks!
@Hoggdoc19462 жыл бұрын
A change in the controller to one that provides more amp to the motor would be a starting plaace.
@buffalomind68382 жыл бұрын
@@Hoggdoc1946 that’s very true as. 750watt hub motor should be peaking higher than the 900’s to occasional just 1,00 as mentioned. It should be 1,100-1,200qwatts average. However if you have the extra $250 bucks mights as well go with a higher watt motor. However you may want to wire in a 20amp battery into one of those opening in the middle of the bike to offset the more amps you’ re inevitably be taking from the existing battery. And pedaling a bike with the dimensions of the peddles so forward & the weight being so high is impractical for considerable asking of time. Going up hill would seem practically impossible, so all the things mentioned should be seriously considered.

What a great looking bike! When I first saw it I envisioned it as a vintage Triumph with a black frame, a red and white tank with knee pads of course, and a red controller/side cover. Follow that up with a vintage style logo on the tank and side cover, and a leather saddle. Since it’s really more capable as a street bike I’d complete the look with some highway tires. Btw, I thought about your video on how to sell a million ebikes. Your observations were right on target, so I thought why not create a scoring system. Give one point for every feature that meets that criteria and you could give your viewers a yardstick by which to measure your “one in a million ebike”. This bike would get two points for battery!

@ezl80022 жыл бұрын
The Ebike looks real good BUT, you'll play heck trying to pedal the bike since the pedals are too close with the seat too low. The frame needs to be stretched for pedaling. Not really meant for pedaling and might need "foot pegs" added for fellas 6 foot in height. A long minibike seat would be a better combination with a extended frame. I'm wondering if the hub motor has steel gears in it and thanks for the review.

But the seat is just too tall for me to get my leg over (yes I am disabled) I can ride a Harley Sportster 1200 with a 26" seat height just fine, but had to sell my Yamaha 225 dual sport bike with a 32" seat height because I could no longer get on it. I can't even get on my 1971 Schwinn Sting Ray 20" bike, which I own as a collectors item only. When I was 10 years old (now 63) I put a million miles on a couple of those. I do like the idea that a company built an ebike that was not really designed to be pedaled. I hope that catches on. If you can pedal, why would you want an ebike? I get my exercise with my arms.
