Made this again tonight. Cut the slices thinner and it tasted better than the best restaurant dish. As a diabetic the dish had minimal effect on my glucose even adding the small amount of sugar. I can’t eat it with rice, but it’s delicious as is.

Took a trip to the local Asian market and bought all of the ingredients. The dish was simple to make and it was delicious. I need to get better at slicing my beef thinner but that will have to wait for the next recipe I try.

Stacey, I'm giving this recipe a try for dinner tonight. I wasn't able to find any cute little Bok Choy like you have. Maybe I'll sauté the thicker stems (they taste fine, not as tender) a little longer before I add the tops. I'll let you know!

When you added the extra cornstarch solution (slurry), the gravy disappeared. There was too much cornstarch. I had to double the brown sauce and the Soy, Oyster and dark soy to have any gravy.

Book Choi is over cooked Beef already soaked with tasted sauce. Please try make it simple like with thousand years Chinese farmer. No gangle. No Saugus no msg and no garlic etc. Chinese food is called 'make it simple and stupid. Save time save oil.
