Honestly I love this philosophy. Don’t nerf the good characters, just help the bad ones. Everyone’s happy. Mainly nerf the bugs and really annoying jank like ivy dair, olimar shield stun, Rob jab infinite, yoshi fsmash pullback, etc. A+ Nintendo Edit: Y’all really out here complaining cause your bottom tier hasn’t gotten buffed yet or joker hasn’t been nerfed. No, it has been the same with F-tilt out of a parry, since you can input the direction it won't autocorrect. Up-smash however will work .

Even Pokémon Trainer mains knew Ivysaur needed some nerfs though. He had three busted moves. Now he only has up-air that’s stupidly good. Down-air and up-b are no longer busted, and Zard got more kill power. He’s a more rewarding character to play because of it 🤗

5:00 The change to Ridley's up smash fixed a minor issue where it would whiff on characters who were as tall as (or shorter than) Mario at the front of the move. While it still whiffs on short characters such as Kirby and Pichu, it now hits most of the cast just fine now

One you didn't mention. On battlefield-style levels, Pikachu's down special (Thunder) now connects with him/her when standing under the lower platforms. This used to hit the platform above and not connect, but now goes through to connect with Pikachu's body.

The lightspeed launch glitch on multi-hitting moves was caused by a previous patch which made certain multi-hitting moves connect the full hits more reliably. They did this by making the character hit get dragged towards the center during the hits. The problem is when the move is interrupted or only partially hits. The game still wants to bring them to the center but does so at a very high speed. You'd see it a lot on trades. Glad it was fixed.
