The people who were taught and learnt Wing Chun from GM Yip Man especially in the early days tested their skills on the streets of Hong Kong including Bruce Lee even though he spent spent less than 18 months not the full system and only part time he was going to school ,he was a natural with drive and would have been 1st class at anything he wanted.He put Wing Chun on the map in the west which has become a double edge sword for it. Jeet keen Do has a large basis from WC there has been nobody of note developed by it unlike WC where people have trained full time 7 days 12 to 15 hours for a number of years to learn and develop have never taken part in a published fight.

Gen Lee Ju Jitsu, in the early 60s in New Jersey, combined Karate, Ju Jitsu, Boxing, and Savate. Nice video but the title (Brutal fight against Bruce Lee) is bullshit. Or is that part two. Maybe not.
@snd76228 ай бұрын
It's 100% bullshit. There is no evidence that Bruce EVER had real full contact fight against proper, serious fighter. True is that Bruce has no ability to do it. He was small, not very strong and easy to knock out by real fighters. That's why despite the fact that he could enter any competition to prove his skill never had a fight. He was also seriously addicted to drugs, always high on cocaine and LSD. There is much more bullshit and false legend around him that real fighter.

@@snd7622 Well we could listen to your lies or we could listen to the testimony of all the great fighters who trained under him who were world champions like Ali, Chuck Norris, Bob Wall, Joe Lewis, and the list goes on and on and on. There is a reason all the best sports fighters went to him to learn how to be better. Bruce Lee never did drugs. Bruce was a maniac about what he ate and would never consume food that was bad for him because he didn't want his training to be corrupted. If you are going to lie about someone at least try ones that are even remotely believable.

@@JosephDiveley Words of ACTORS only prove that Bruce was rubbish. I could beat him easy. He was always on cocaine and LSD, bodyweight 65 kg ( my dog is bigger). You should check Bruce's gym card online, he was weak like average 16 yo boy. And most of all : HE NEVER FOUGHT FOR REAL. Fight score - zero. There is nothing like lies or true here just proven facts : Bruce never proved that he could fight for real. And by looking at his weakness and tiny body weight hudreds people in his era could kill him in 30 seconds in the ring. And he knew it that's why all he did was naive choreography on films and talking bullshit.

I just wish Joe had kept acting and developed "action'' movie career like Norris instead of going back into kickboxing in early '80's! Still love "Jaguar Lives"!!! RIP JOE!
