Is the ear flapping a sign of happiness for an elephant?
@OnlyGrafting Жыл бұрын
@@brandons9913 it's cooling itself down and it helps with listening to the environment too. It is likely just cooling itself but considering the music is playing it's not impossible to ascertain it's trying to listen better, for both the music and the surroundings now being drowned out by the music. When they're happy they typically wag their tails like a dog would. You can see in the background it is going quite fast with the tail wagging, but just like the ears it can also be doing this to swat away flies. So if Paul can attest to how many flies were buzzing around we could figure out whether it was purely swatting flies, doing a mix of swatting and being happy or if it was simply very happy.
