So Beethoven composed this while being stone deaf. Respect does not even come close to how I feel towards the Man.

So you dislike real singing?
@CzechRiot
@CzechRiot 11 ай бұрын
No, no , no... upu pseudo-purist. I dislike ONE TYPE of real singing, which is Opera. I respect the technique, the skills, the talent, the power, the ability, the micro-control... Basically everything *technical* , I just DO NOT LIKE HOW IT SOUNDS, it is overly melodramatic, my brain does not have the neural pathways to feel anything is terms of *emotion* . It is a matter of taste. To me, Opera is kinda like the Sumo of singing, the heaviest vocals, a lot of power, but it is just ugly. There is no beauty in trying to be as loud as you can be for the sake of being loud and overemphasize emotions that do not really exist in real life, except for schizophrenics or disturbed people. I mean, it's kinda like “calm down bro...“. Like, just go as far as Celine Dion, Aretha Franlin, Whitney Houston, Adele... Or Slipknot... I mean, I like power, I like screaming, but in opera it all just seems they crossed the lines centuries ago, and for some reason it has an emotional impact on some people. But, whatever, I hate boiled or fried eggs.
@godfreypigott
@godfreypigott 11 ай бұрын
@@CzechRiot WHAT? There is no "screaming" in opera. How on earth are they being "as loud as you can be for the sake of being loud"? And this is NOT opera - do you even know what that is?
@CzechRiot
@CzechRiot 11 ай бұрын
@@godfreypigott Don't be oversensitive with semantics. It is loud, it is mostly loud, and very loud. And too melodramatic most of the times. I just DO NOT LIKE IT. The emotional effect it brings me is annoyance. But they have powerful voices and great vocal control. So I can respect them technically, but musically I find very annoying and pretentious and corny.
