MAK, another awesome video. Something to consider. "John Muir" has a profound influence upon "Theodore Roosevelt" and the establishment of many national parks. Especially "Yosemite" I lived in "Moorhead, MN. just across the "Red River" from Fargo, ND 2001-2002 It would go from Summer in September and within two weeks and the first snows by October. Winter lasting till April. After two winters, back to California for me. My time in ND and MN. I met a lovely lady. She was 6ft tall, "Blood red" color hair and was Russo-Norge heritage. One of her favorite phrases was "Uff-Da Neiman" a Norwegian Phrase. Lots of meanings. My fondest memory is of her(Pat) standing next to a large portrait of her grandmother from 1907. Pat looked literally the living version of her Grandmother in every detail. I kid you not. Pat loved making quilts. Three of which I still have to this day. An awesome person. Cheers, Mate.

Oh my goodness that was such a lovely compliment. I know the feeling you speak of. I get it when I remember my favorite people exist. When we lay eyes on a new landscape that we've never seen before. Opening monologue is so humble & truthful. You two & some friends have been to so many nooks and crannies but there’s that much more to discover and learn. Mak I really applaud your writing & narration. Owen you to are an absolute energy driving this a special journey. Only one episode in and this just tastes & feels different. You both are just so good at what you do. This & the last series (if not all your vids) should be required viewing to everyone, especially the impressionable youth of today. Thank you both. if you haven't read it, check out "The River of Doubt" by Candice Millard. It's the journey that almost killed him. He did it with his son Kermit - whose son, also named Kermit almost single handedly overthrew the government of Iran and installed the Shah. Which has nothing to do with the River of Doubt but is an equally fascinating story.
