I don't get completely why you're using a post fader aux as a subgroup instead of an actual subgroup. Subgroups are usually always postfader, you just don't have a send volume. Putting an aux post fader at 0dB is literally a subgroup. Or is this behaviour for some reason different with this board...? Is it possible to route busses into busses? Say I wanna put the snare mics and kick mics through their own busses and bring them back in the drum bus. Cheers from Germany! ;)

I've been trying to configure 9&10 for bus output and it's not reading signal of routing page but reading signal on the bus output

Is it not possible to route the drums into bus 1 (as group) and to bus 9 (as post fader). Or is it then fixt only to the Subgroup???

What about latency in paralleling the drums? Is the wing like the x32, where you can’t do that without running in phase issues?

It's weird to hear the Hi-Hats on left :D, POV from FOH is mostly mirrorded :D. This engineer must be a drummer and used to have Hi-Hat on left :D

Should I use these instead of DCAs? What are they for?

You would use these if you want to do additional processing to the sum of the channels, like he did with that compressor or the EQ. Otherwise DCAs are just fine if you only need a common volume control.

DreamKeys76 nailed the reply correctly. I like to think of the DCA’s as a remote control. So typically I will set them to the fader of the mixbusses set up as groups. That way I can adjust during a show and when I return the DCA’s to +0.0dB I know they are back to where the group levels should be as a baseline.
