He is attracted to men only and is trying to walk out his salvation. From his conversation, he said he has done all the prayer lines, fasted, prayed, cried-- did it all to be free. Now, he chose to have a boyfriend to meet that need. He said that he knows what he likes😳 He believes that it is not right but he has tried everything. So he believes that that part will be covered under Gods grace. My question to him was that, Im 47 and have been saved since 22 and celebate. I was not a virgin when I got saved. My constant struggle was fleshly as well. Why do he get a pass and I dont? If the Bible is.clear for us both, because his is with a man and a greater thorn, does God excuse the penalty? And for him, it is an acceptance of the sin and a repeated lifestyle of it IN the church🤔

@@tashajones5765 please take my two cents with a grain of salt as I'm just starting to learn about God by reading the bible and listening to Godly content. I think God don't excuse sin ever! But he is a loving God who is slow to anger and also gave us a choice. Your cousin is choosing his flesh and lack self control. Also he seem to be twisting God's word to suit his desires. He say he "know what he like" clearly he like it more than the love of God. We are all human and remember God gave us dominion over Satan and his demons so Satan have to try hard to prove God wrong. Also I believe giving your life to Christ doesn't mean we automatically are shielded from temptation, matter of fact temptation becomes worst. Remember Satan tried to tempt even Jesus who is the son of God, so who are we? We need to live by God's word...period, but if we falter he will forgive. We may pay for our fall but through his grace he will forgive. And the same way you exercise self control and chose to be celibate because that's according to God is the same way he can control himself but he just chooses not to. I’m the same boat. I am annoyed by Christians that think that it’s a magic formula from the bible and your fixed. It’s so misguided I know from experience that God needs us all to use his grace to rise above temptations no matter what your sexuality really. If you are gay and accept that the bible is true then you are already on the right road. What you need is to keep walking relying on God unfathomable divine mercy to get you to where you need to get to. Don’t listen to arrogant Christians who think they know everything without walking an inch in our shoes. Just remember to pray always to get the strength to resist the devil no matter what passions are raging.

Been married now for almost a decade and I approve this message. As believers we CANNOT rely solely on our “goodness” to endure this journey of life. We must also be proactive , wise and strategic in establishing BOUNDARIES for how we live. As a heterosexual I have always empathized with children of God who are homosexual. At least we can get married and have that type of intimacy with a partner that we are attracted to. They cannot. They can get married and have sexual intimacy, but it may not feel right to them. I don’t know, but I do know that they have a huge struggle.

Thank you for being able to look outside of yourself and see how difficult this is for us. That’s so beautiful of you and shows your heart and depth. I’m 28 and came from a Christian household but have always had homosexual tendencies. After dealing with women for almost 10 years I gave my life to Christ last year August. Ended my relationship with the woman I planned to marry and now have been following Jesus. Seldom am I able to discuss what life is like because my gay friends don’t want to hear about it and my straight friends and family don’t want to hear about it. Now I have a counselor (who just so happens to be a devout Christian) who gives support by saying that everything can be altered with conditioning and being intentional so I still don’t fully express myself to her. It’s a pretty lonely journey but I don’t feel alone luckily because I formed a relationship with God. But it’s hard, it truly is difficult. People talk about how heterosexuals abstaining from sex is tough and use this as a way to compare an ex lesbian now changing their life and it’s not nearly the same. With heterosexuals they are able to eventually receive what they desire sexually and romantically, but with me a homosexual I’ll never be able to have that while walking with Christ. Every day is intentional. I didn’t go from homosexual to now being straight. I went from homosexual to God. My dream has always been to get married and have kids along with a PhD. But only God can provide that for me. It may or may not be in God’s plans. So now I’m abstaining from sex, not engaging with women, and learning and growing in Christianity. Huh..... as someone who dealt with a homosexual lifestyle for 27 years, what he's said in the video is the first parts of the sanctification of the process, but we do most certainly breakthrough by continuing to work our own salvation with fear an dtrembling of God and then that desire has no hold any longer, it's the same as anything else I'm fully free from, I can allow it to be a very distant lie that if I feed it grows or I ignore it and stay focused on Christ and I don't focus on sin or darkness but light, I use to be a drinker and druggie but I don't desire it at all anymore, same goes with EVERYTHING that's a work of the flesh. I don't carnalize it by making it weird, I walk according to The Word by power and love and a sound mind. Hope this makes sense and helps someone realize strength is a gift from God ONLY attainable FROM God. We are weak the flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing. I am also glad God is truly with me even more now and his spirit. I have self control not to do homosexual acts but it's very hard but our walk eith Christ will never be as perfect as we think because we will always make mistakes as humsjd. I been bisexual always been feminine dominant as in i was more into women (my same sex). I did try to be in a relationship but it was definitely not for me because I kept feeling guilty even though i loved my partner of the time but felt so guilty for it. Well i got to the point where I realized the Holy spirit was tugging at me n telling me there is more than flesh and earthly love. Now im married and have my kids . I found a man that helped me through this by getting me closer to God through understanding and showing me unconditional love . I still am physically attracted still to women but i fight it n ask God all the time to help reduce my wants n desires. To help me be strong in him n remember that the rebellion of my homosexual desires in me is not the Godly part but the earthly for me.I looove sugar but dont want to be diabetic so I avoid sugar for the most part. Just cuz i love someone or thing it doesn't mean its good for me or my health. My spiritual health is very important even more than physical

If a part of your body causes you to sin, cut it off. I was promiscuous for the time i was 14 to mid 30s (i’m currently 45). God gave me the strength to completely be abstinence from that lifestyle. However I still struggle with master bation. The fight is never over. But I love Jesus more then I love myself. Continuing to be a warrior for God is also fighting the demons within.

This is something I have noticed about some of my friends husbands. I, personally, can be around an attractive man and completely ignore him if I know he is unavailable. I can be friends with him and never hope or expect anything else to happen. So, I'm fine with being alone in the room with them or sitting next to them on the couch. However, because they are attracted to me, they immediately move when I sit next to them on the couch. If I'm sitting on the couch with my friend between me and her husband and she gets up to go to the bathroom, he gets up and moves to the other chair while she's gone. These guys are not playing. They will not only refuse to be set up for temptation, they refuse to even have the appearance of evil. I have the utmost respect for both of my friends husbands because of this.

I'd like you to understand that even though you fall into sin, God does not cast you away. The blood of Jesus is forever present. All you need to do is confess your sins (one to another). Confessing your sins to another actual human is accountability on your part. It does not mean that the person has the power to forgive your sins. When you make yourself accountable to someone, before you do anything foolish, you ask yourself what the person would say and how the person would react. If you've fallen to something a few times and you've had to confess it, something in you would want to stop being a wimp, and start being a warrior. How did I know this? I'm accountable to someone, and that has been my greatest blessing. I've been celibate for years now, and trust me, you also can be celibate. May God help you die more to your flesh.

I personally feel his internal battle is actually growing his faith, and helping his heart be replaced from wanting his desires to wanting to please God. With him being aware of his struggle he’s able to create boundaries for himself based off of him wanting to please God. So if you truly want to lose weight would you surround yourself with all the temptation you possibly could and then tell yourself "if I truly want to lose weight I won't eat any of this"... I think part of deliverance is also recognizing that there is also spiritual warfare one must deal with and strongholds one must break through prayer and sometimes fervent consistent prayer. The more we spend time in the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to lead in our lives, the more the fleshly desires fall away for he who the son sets free is free indeed!

I've been struggling with this too. I know deep in my heart and soul that as a man having relations with another man is wrong and I end up feeling worthless and ashamed but i kept going back to it. I want to heal and deepen my relationship with god but I'm ashamed of myself and the things i did. I truly feel like no matter what i do there will be no redemption for me, i want to live life like how a man should, but every time I try to date another women I just think that I'm not worthy of it and end up dwelling on my past mistakes, how could a women love me if she knew what kind of person I was and how could i fulfill my duty as a man when i spent a lot of my life trying to live as a woman. I need help, and I want to change, but my inner turmoil holds me back. I've failed my parents, my friends, and myself. Please god give me your guidance and lead me out of this dark place I am in.

Cling unto Him who is Mightier than all you have been through. Ask Jesus for strength and please approach Him knowing He loves you so much and can do anything for you. Ask Jesus to wipe out the guilt and shame. Repent and tell Him everything. I know that feeling of unworthiness and selfhate, unfortunately, too well it is a tactic by demons to cause you to withdraw from the Lord I'm going through the similar feelings also of same sex attraction. How about for now instead of you trying to date women and me men , we try being with God . To find out who we are in Christ. It doesn't matter what we have done. His great sacrifice has done it all. Let's not believe in ourselves but believe in God and what He can do for us Perhaps if you have a few trusted friends in your church who understand and can fortify you with prayers My point is don't feel low God is with you and all His promises are true. If you get deliverance, true deliverance you no longer have the desire. Homosexuality is a spirit, so is lust, cast them out, get delivered. You were not meant to be suffering in your flesh wanting those things and having to tame it continuously. Deliverance means to me set free, not chained and tamed. GET DELIVERANCE. It works. Otherwise you’re saying God is a liar, no sir. God delivers people fully. Fast and pray bc some only come out by fasting and praying. And don’t be doing half fast, stop eating and drinking and get on your face. It works.

Cause he said the man was attracted to him (says it low so it sounds like the he said he was attracted to men..as if he was referring to someone else) but the man didn't indulge in the fornication cause he didn't want to disappoint god.
