Thanks for the vid. I went through a very similar projector and got it running great. Only to find the bulb was gone and only some kind of bulb cover but no bulb. I wonder what kind of bulb it takes? Strange looking socket.

This is a fantastic video - thank you for making and sharing it! I have this same model projector, and it's been on my to-do list for ages to try fixing it up. I don't have a power cord for mine though - does anyone happen to know what style or type I should be hunting for? Is it something standard or would I need to track down the same one this unit originally came with?

Great video! This model is similar to mine. How do you change the dang bulb? I unscrew the bottom cap, exposing the bulb contact but it won't slide out. Do I need to remove the four screws holding the bottom plate too? Thanks!

Great video, a few questions! How did the grease work for you, good? Did the projector end up working? How do I know when to grease/lube it again?

Brianna, Use thixotropic grease like Tri-Flow Clear Synthetic Grease sparingly and it will last 20 years. Do not use white lithium grease!! It will dry out and become like glue in 2 years. A trial in a Singer sewing machine was a disaster for these reasons. It was difficult to clean out the yellowed, dry lithium grease. Ten years later, no problem with Tri-Flow in that machine.
