I just want to mention one thing. when I recommend that she doesn’t use a tinted moisturiser because she has oily skin, I’m talking about how long wearing the Product will be on her skin type. I’m not talking about skincare. This isnt a skincare reaction video. Also the Tinted moisturiser she uses, is oil free, I say that I wish she had mentioned what kind of tinted moisturiser she is using for her skin type. Tinted moisturiser (despite the name) isn’t skincare and should not be used in place of skincare. However, it will add moisture to the skin makeing it too excessive for acne prone and oily skin. I’m very oily myself, and use oils and heavy moisturisers on my own skin. People with oily skin and acne prone skin should still moisturise.

I used to have bad acne, then went on acne meds for nine months and it was gone, but... sometimes I get 1-2 big pimples or a few small ones and I freak the fuck out because I’m scared it will start all over again. Usually happens around my periods (hormonal) or when I’m super stressed. Anyway, that might explain why people say they’re breaking out and act all dramatic cause of one pimple lol.

I have legit been wondering why people thought that eyeshadow was a "base" for eyeshadow for years. Concealer, eye primer, foundation, even CREAM shadow, sure! That tracks. But powder eyeshadow AS THE BASE ITSELF, I have been wondering how that works for AGES. Spoiler alert: it doesn't work for me.

I think because a base of a light color eyeshadow down first often makes it easier to blend other shadows on top of it through the crease. Not really a base in the sense of making it last longer but because a “base” shadow down first can help blend out other colors instead of blending over a tacky base which can cause skipping or make blending a bit trickier depending on the eyeshadows and skill level.

He didn't show in the video how she applied the tinted moisturizer but she could have also swept some of it on her lids and in that case a white eyeshadow/ or powder is need to start to get rid of the tackiness so that colored eyeshadow cqn easily blend

Since she didnt add more eyeshadow, I think she just meant she was putting that one color to keep her eyelids from getting oily/creasing, not to keep other eyeshadow from creasing. That's how I took it anyway 🙃 Great video!!

i have an eyeshadow primer and i've never understood the point of it until you spoke about it. everyone keeps talking about concealers all the time so the masses (just as myself) go for what they say, but you speak about it in such an educating way that it's actually making me wanna try it out and see how it differentiates from my 'normal' routine!!
