1976. Here’s a story of a song that have been rejected by some artists, and garnered a promising spot on the chart after having been recorded by the singer who gave it a try. “Let Your Love Flow” is an upbeat life-inspiring song that was written by Larry D. Williams. Williams wrote the song having Neil Diamond as the prospect interpreter. When Neil declined to record the song, the Bellamy Brothers confidently took it. Unexpectedly, the track made it to the top spot in country music chart. Not only that, it also crossed over into the pop music charts. The brothers were born/raised in Florida. Love when they smile at one another 😄.

The Bellamy Brothers are still touring. One of my favorite songs of theirs is Old Hippie. A song that came out in 85 about a Vietnam veteran, then in 95 they did Old Hippie part 2 same veteran, ten years later and then in 2005, Old Hippie part 3 came out, and again the same veteran now 30 years after his war. All three are special to me. I am the nephew of 2 Vietnam veterans and now this year, I am 30 years past my war, Desert Storm

Harri, this song came out the year I graduated high school. What a beautiful and uplifting song! I'm glad you chose it to react to. It is one that you can put on your short list of songs that pick up your spirits when they are down and you really need a boost! 😎🎸👌🎶😉💖 Yup! The 1960s, 70s and 80s produced the best music I have ever heard. By far! 🤠👍💪 Please react to the Doobie Brothers singing "Dark Eyed Cajun Woman" from their "The Captain and Me" album. Just a very beautiful blues based love song with excellent guitar solos!

Beautiful ❤️ song and great voices. Catchy tune, but with too many repetition of the lyrics. Agree that the 60's 70's and 80's music were very good. I grew up listening to it. Also I must add the 50's music : oldies but goodies and Doowop music. The 50's in my opinion was the birth of Rock N Roll. They had wonderful singers and groups such as Jackie Wilson, Elvis, The Drifters, Dion & The Belmont's, Ritchie Valens, Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers, and too many to mention. I grew up listening to the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and up to the90's. Have huge collection of these great songs. Am enjoying your music 🎶🎶 reactions very much . Let's Keep these wonderful music Alive!!!!.. God bless 🙏 and take care.👍👍💯❤️

Thanks for another great Harri Best reaction! If you feel ready for a happy song for a change it does not get happier than "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood Sweat and Tears! Secondly, while The Beatles are the Greatest Band Of All Time, their influence helped to make the 1970's the greatest decade for music of all time, imo!! Keep up the great work with your reactions!!
