That poor guy spent ALL THAT MONEY to get a repowered and lowered convertible that to get it back collapsed because of the lack of / removed frame support - doors can't close, and an engine too far forward, with the wrong transmission for the application. Mike is SAINT! Big ups to Big Steve helping the people with this documentation of how to fix what not to do!💪🏽

It would be interesting to know whether these problems are DIY caused or whether they were caused by a disreputable custom shop. Disreputable shops do exist, at least for a short while. Good to be able to foresee that this case will have a happy ending.

Went through much of the same installing my 302/c4 in my 31 model A w/ a 32 frame. Ended up recessing the firewall about 2 inches and I installed a shorty water pump. Couldn’t run a mechanical fan because of the lack of space so I used an electric fan mounted inside the grill shell.
