Oh gods Daniel what is this new fangled technology pdf computer witchcraft stuff?! I know our courts have gone/are going paperless, but I so prefer my bundles to be paper: can scrawl all over and make notes on, and Post-It notes and then my own pro-forma for tribunal questions. How on earth do you cope without pen/paper copies? 💜💜
@annakarenina31882 жыл бұрын
Ps... On serious note, may be worth seeing if Colonel Kurtz can do a double-up / triple-up with you, herself and maybe Mr Robertshaw.... She's an academic (post doc) in media, and she's been following JD case from start, plus the much more wild Marilyn Manson case. I was wondering if doing a cross-channel thing, where she brings in the knowledge she has from Manson re: JD and how it may be useful information re: the UK trial (as in VA they kept referencing Manson almost every day, before he filed to sue Evan Rachel Wood and Illma Gore). Then also take hypothetical counterparts of ERW and MM for the UK: like if ERW & MM were in the UK, which laws would come into play with both, and therefore how people here in similar bizarre situations (I've no presumption of guilt or innocence before the trial obviously, but the evidence appears at this stage to be in Manson's favour).... How people in such circumstances in the UK could potentially fight such a case (with all the caveats of not legal advice). I just think it'd be an interesting hypothetical exercise, possibly illuminate some evidence about JD and things useful for UK re-opening, as he was at events that AH claims violence took place..... And cross seed audience to each others channels..... She's meticulous, and follows the evidence, and is a really sweet and smart woman who was fans of neither, but believes in justice.
@annakarenina31882 жыл бұрын
Finishing watching this video -- yes, speak to Colonel Kurtz, as these actions in liminey bring in aspects of the Manson case..... It's wild, strongly parallels, theres a journalism source saying AH & ERW co-conspired..... But this time, has strong evidence.

I noticed in the introduction and summary portion, regarding Heard’s “Supplemental Plea in Bar by Letter Opinion and Order,” has a date of August 17, 2022. Is that a deadline for the plea, or is it an error? If it is an error on the date e.g. it should have read August 17, 2021; can Heard’s team use this as another attempt to get this case overturned?

The petition for removing Amber Heard from Aquama reached 4.6 milions. It didn't have any consequencies.Warner Bros still continues to protect her role and position.Another trial in UK is useless if people doesn't understand why he lost. In a new trial it will happen the same. Is it possible that the judge chosen for the past trial had so strict connections with The Sun?How could it be prevented the next judge will not have the same connections?
@Slitheringpeanut2 жыл бұрын
Not going to happen, the judge in that case has to sign off on having it reheard, which would imply that his own judgement was wrong. Worse, it's clear that he was compromised from the word go. His son for example worked with the Sun article writer when they both worked for the affiliated radio station. The Judge's WIFE hosted a party that both Heard and her UK lawyer attended earlier. That judgement should be overturned and that judge should be shown the way to jail, but it won't happen.

It's very interesting that her own lawyers knew from the start that she was so fucked that they had to start making up conspiracy theories about how everyone that didn't like Ms. Turd was a bot. Her legal team is the kind of "yes man" legal team that Bruce Rivers brought up when he analyzed what Andrew Tate wants in a lawyer. They almost certainly know she did some illegal shit, and her mentality is of course 'I don't talk to lawyers to hear about laws, I just want you to get me out of this shit,' to paraphrase Tate. There's a saying I thought of when I was watching this whole trial play out: "a lawyer is only as good as their client." Intuitively I sort of knew that the info from the UK really didn't have a dog in this fight here in the United States. @deang56222 жыл бұрын
The judgement in a UK court is an opinion which is derived from the evidence and testimony presented before the court. And that judgement can be wrong. So it would be entirely inappropriate for a court in another country to rely on that derived opinion: the US should make its own mind up fully based on the facts and only the facts presented before it. There is also a fundamental difference in libel laws in the UK and US where in the US malice needs to be present in an act of libel for a libel claim to be upheld by the US court. That is not the case in the UK . So because of the different laws in the two countries, even if presented with the same same evidence and testimony in the trial, the courts may have to come to a different outcome in order to comply with their respective laws.

It feels like those who comment for to not report on this might have a interest in being on AH side (not wanting these details come to light) and some might actually be bots, as Umbrella Guy have reported on. Her obsessions with bots feels a bit like "confession through projection".

I love these deep dives. The trial might have ended with the verdict, but all the issues thrown up by the trial will be relevant forever - hence why older cases which proved a relevant point are cited in legal documents for current cases. Each one is so illuminating - I know some people thing Amber's behaviour sealed her fate in this court, but it was by no means certain. And this video today, highlighting how far she wanted to go, really do illuminate how vindictive she is and how desperate to hurt her ex-husband she was. It's a rather terrifying insight into an essentially criminal mindset - and the more we know about this kind of person, the more we can protect ourselves against them when we encounter them in normal life (and this, sadly, is fairly inevitable it seems). Please keep up the good work.

At this point it's not that this trial is being milked but that so many things happened within it and are still happening that it's a great example for certain things, terms, tactics, things I don't know/etc. Without a doubt it's best to discuss some of the current matters now so that we, who knows nothing, are able to understand the significance. This trial being as transparent and public as it was really makes it easy to go back and look to see/ watch what's being discussed or referenced.
@Begining20132 жыл бұрын
What I've learned by watching this JD/AH trial is: there's probably no punishment for lying, obstruction or provable perjury. Taking an Oath means nothing to some. There appears to be no consequences for lawyers who breech previous court orders or rules. And most trials should be televised (unless objected to by the parties).

I’m here in California and will continue watching these videos if you continue to make them. Keep teaching the public (both in the UK and USA) and hopefully those of rational thought will think twice before they hurl accusations at someone else. I am the mom of two grown men and was relieved that the jury looked at the facts presented. I fear that histrionics are being interpreted as facts. This gave me hope. By the way, cute dog💕

So how did Elaine get away with repeated references during the trial to the U.K. trials and in her closing argument to the jury? Why was she not admonished for that? It seems she read the document you refer to and then ignored it
@Teddypally2 жыл бұрын
I think it was a trap. If one lawyer references something and the other lawyer addresses it, the first lawyer can introduce it into evidence. If the jury doesn't know the reference, its impact on the case is limited. Sort of like when amber named people, Depp's lawyers could introduce those people's testimony.
@TheSiriusEnigma2 жыл бұрын
That’s “sleazy lawyer” 101. They are not allowed to talk about it, but the judge can only stop them after they did. The trick is to slip just enough.
@starrthompson49272 жыл бұрын
Elaine and.her team tried several underhanded things to influence the jury IMO. Remember in Elaine's closing she said the JD walked into the Daily Mail offices with Mr. Waldman and made those statements about the hoak to try to tie JD to the Waldman statements. There was no evidence of that. Do you think that JD would go to the daily mail offices at all when he had other people who he could get to do that for him if needed. AH found the right lawyer when she hired Elaine...unethical.
@internetpolification2 жыл бұрын
@@TheSiriusEnigma but the judge didn’t stop her though?
@TheSiriusEnigma2 жыл бұрын
@@internetpolification it was too late. The issue is that a judge will not sanction a lawyer for “minor” violations as it deprives the represented party of proper representation. This can be room for appeal. In the US at least.
