But he was genuinely a kind and caring person, but he got caught up in the Byrds drug business, and he's eventually killed by the order of his sister (Marty's wife) because due to his volatile emotional state, he fails to understand the severity of everything and becomes a liability. HIGHLY recommend a full watch, the show is phenomenal.

Dude Ben’s story is so sad. I had a buddy that struggled with addiction and died from he it. We all were telling him to stop and doing the best we could but some people just can’t be helped they have to do it on their own and his character reminded me of my friends. Especially when they wouldn’t let him leave the rehab center and shit.
