It's amazing how in the album, this is right after Hurt Me Once. The parallel of being hurt by another one's lover and then the side which is a development which comes to character. I love how he explores the deepest reaches of being in emotional and mental pain which is then followed by a spark of hope and feeling brand new because of the improvement when you overcome being heartbroken. Ben Platt is literally perfect in every way.
