@@kurtgriffin4163 often times ill search for CBS, abc, NBC nightly news casts from the 80s as im laying in bed trying to go to sleep....its almost like going back in time lol....i especially like the commercials ID long since forgotten....i also like how 80s news was a lot more unbiased...just the facts or what they know....regardless of political affiliation it was just good old unbiased information about the world as it was then....no political agenda or political propaganda aimed at trying to influence your views and opinions.....just good old Ronald Reagan and talk of nuclear weapons and war with the USSR....and how many bowls of corn flakes you would have to eat to equal one bowl of total fiber. There are songs that make you fall in love, but this one is truly heart-stopping. The voice, the chorus, the guitar, all the sounds make this a masterpiece. It is an obligation for all of us who know it to show it to the new generations and for them to listen to it. It is an anthem.

this song could have been first released in the 70's, 90's or early 2000's, and still have the ability to be a top ten hit. Aaaah; my mid 20's when this first was heard on our local FM station blasting out tuneage from my Pioneer car radio and quad speaker system in the old Toyota hylux P/U. Aaaah. C'mon brain. take me there.

It reminds me of my mother, who died of cancer of the adrenal glands and stomach lining, as well as lung cancer. Linda May Shaler December 11th, 1965-June 20th, 2014. RIP, Mom
