Problem for MLB is that if they don't suspend the pitcher Abreu, then big sluggers like Harper and Altuve could start getting hit with 100 mph pitches and the pitcher could get away with it by staying it was unintentional. How is it SO unbelievable that this could be intentional? I get it; ALCS, series tied 2-2, 0 outs, bottom 8, a runner on etc. But this is Adolis Garcia, a guy you'd rather pitch around anyway. A guy who just embarassed you and imo a guy who was asking for it. The fact that the situation didn't call for it and the catcher didn't set up inside only makes it more likely no one gets ejected. Plus with LeClerc having to sit between innings this is an absolute genius move by Dusty. He was milking it as much as possible by not leaving the bench too.

I'm a rangers fan through & through, but I honestly don't feel it was intentional. Not at that stage of the game. Under different circumstances maybe, but not being down 2 with a guy already on 1st with 0 outs you put 2 on. I don't feel it was intentional. Tell ya what though, I know that 98 in the ribs to Mitch Garver had to hurt. Whooooo. Then Chapman, 104 to guys leg. You know he was trying to walk that one off. This did NOT win the Astros the game. Having an 11 minute delay (actually more like 20) PLUS the rest of the inning AND the inability of Texas to score in BOTH the 8th and 9th with 2 on AND no outs. Leclerc didn’t throw on the mound for almost half an hour. THAT lost the game.
